Chapter 9 The joy of escaping was fleeting (1/2)

"Whoa ...

The bus pierced through a spatial rift and plummeted from a height of two meters. Most people screamed in agony, but Ruby's scream was particularly shrill and piercing.

Faga, who already had little strength, felt his eyelids twitching as he listened; staying by her side was pure torture.

However, what was even more torturous was that the seatbelt was too tight, and Fagar felt uncomfortable in his chest, with a feeling of suffocation arising spontaneously!

Just as Fagga was feeling suffocated, he suddenly caught a glimpse of a strong tail reaching out from the corner of his eye. It had the soft feel of thick subcutaneous fat, yet it was also unusually firm to the touch.

It feels so good to touch...

Faga couldn't help but squint his eyes a crack, looking hazily at the tail pressing against his chest.

Suddenly, its tail tightened, and it pressed Fagga firmly into the seat with all its might!

What happened?

In the last second before the bus touched down, this question popped into Fagga's mind.

*Sizzle sizzle sizzle!*

The bus landed, the windshield shattered instantly, the bumper was ejected under the terrifying pressure, and both front tires burst the moment they touched the ground.

Several tons of weight pressed down on the two wheel hubs, and terrifying inertia forced them forward.

The bus wanted to stop, but things were no longer the same.

It can no longer stop smoothly like before; losing the smoothness of the tires means losing the best protection.

While the hardness hidden beneath the softness can certainly support a spine, it is difficult to face the equally hard asphalt road.

The bus kissed the asphalt with a painful kiss, and the asphalt slapped it back.

When two hard objects clashed, neither willing to yield, they naturally had to determine who was superior. Sparks flew everywhere, like silver snakes leaping out of the water, and they even rose higher than the car body!

The intense heat, which spread rapidly, even left two dark ruts on the road.

Pfft!!!

After gliding for more than ten meters with great difficulty, the sharp, ear-piercing sound finally ended, and Ellen finally breathed a sigh of relief, wiping the thin layer of sweat from her forehead.

Without realizing it, Eileen's gaze swept over the rearview mirror above her head, where Fagga was still holding his tail in the reflection.

snort!

Eileen snorted coldly, flicked her tail forcefully, and broke free from Fagga's embrace.

Fagar was finally able to catch his breath; the pressure from his tail during those last few seconds was no less painful than the pressure from safety.

But after coughing twice, Fagar still said thank you. If it weren't for Ellen nudging him with her tail, his physical condition would have been even worse.

"snort!"

Ellen gave another soft hum. Fagga's thanks made her blush. She quickly patted herself twice to return to normal and then turned around.

"It really was a skin allergy; it came on quickly and went away just as fast."

Ellen bent down with her hands on her hips, looking down at Fagga's face. Combined with her aloof expression, this gave the young girl a touch of mature elegance.

Fagga's recovery ability was quite good; in just a few minutes, his appearance had already recovered to a presentable state.

Even if she went out now, people would only complain that she was overly whitened, instead of Ruby being amazed that she wasn't that white even after being dead for three days.

"This isn't a skin allergy, and who told you allergies come on and go quickly..."

Fagar muttered under his breath, tilting his head slightly to see the black smoke billowing from the front of the car.

His eyes widened instantly, and he quickly unbuckled his seatbelt. Then, he sat up abruptly and shouted at his classmates sitting in the back of the bus, "Run! This bus might explode!"

Upon hearing this, everyone turned pale and quickly unbuckled their seatbelts and rushed out of the car.

Five minutes later.

Ruby glanced at the bus still smoking behind her and muttered, "It didn't explode after all."

"You don't seem very happy? Hmm~~~"

The squad leader hugged his arms, wincing in pain from the car accident.

"Hehehe! Ouch!"

Ruby stuck out her tongue, but suddenly felt a tap on her head. She looked pitifully to the side, her eyes wide and watery, and said, "Eileen..."

Eileen silently withdrew her hand, hugged her ample bosom, and said, "Stop looking at me, lead the way quickly, Rope Maker."

"oh!"

Ruby let out a pitiful "Oh," but quickly composed herself and, surrounded by the crowd, carefully surveyed her surroundings.

Finally, ten minutes later, Ruby looked up in surprise and pointed to a building a hundred meters away:

"The entrance to that building is the last spatial rift; if my guess is correct, it connects to the outside of the void!"

"Really?" A student stepped forward, his eyes filled with excitement, his lips trembling slightly, almost bursting with joy!

"Um."

Ruby nodded gently, igniting a volcano of joy!

"Wuhu!!!"

“NICEEEEEEEE!!!!”

The students, who had been panicking, were now completely free of their restraints. The oppression, tension, and disappointment seemed to have vanished, and everyone's face was filled with joy.
