Chapter 99 See what good stuff I found for you (2/2)

Ruby fell to the ground, and after a while, she sat up, clutching the back of her head, and gasped, "Ouch! That hurts!"

Seeing this, Eileen and Fagga quickly came over. Eileen squatted down in front of Ruby and said irritably, "See? I just told you to be careful. Turn your head and let me see how badly you're hurt."

"It's alright, it's just a minor scrape."

After checking Ruby's wounds, Ellen finally breathed a sigh of relief.

Faga smiled and said, "On the bright side, at least she only tripped and scraped her skin, instead of falling directly into the spatial rift."

"Ugh!!! It really was an accident, don't you dare make sarcastic remarks about me!"

Ruby dusted herself off and stood up again, kicked away the pebble that had tripped her, then put one hand on her hip, pointed forward, and said seriously:

"Watch me, everyone! I'm a future legendary investigator, I'm not going to just randomly fall into a spatial rift!"

After saying that, Ruby took two steps forward, took out the data panel and carefully checked it many times before confidently pointing her finger forward.

In an instant, a crack appeared in the space in front of Ruby, and then it suddenly tore open to both sides.

"look!"

Ruby proudly shifted to the side, pointing two fingers at the spatial rift, completely forgetting about her earlier fall:

"Ruby knows where the spatial rift is; there's no way she could fall in!"

However, Fagar smiled and ruthlessly exposed the truth: "But I heard from Ellen that you fell into the spatial rift twice in Void Zero."

"That...that was to save you!"

Ruby stammered for a while, then pouted and said, "The first time I found Phaethon, the second time I found the Sixth Anti-Air Division. I'm super awesome, okay!"

That's true.

Fagá shrugged. There was no way to refute that.

"Since you know, then keep a close eye on things and see what good stuff Ruby has found for you this time!"

Hearing Fagga's affirmation, Ruby proudly raised her little face, then turned and stepped into the spatial rift.

A purple light obscured the view, and the surrounding light was as hazy as if shrouded in fog.

...

In another part of the cave, a brawl was breaking out. One side was dressed in police uniforms, while the other side was dressed in all sorts of colors, looking exactly like thugs.

Among the group of thugs, only the rat-like Xiren was dressed the best, and he took the initiative to challenge a cat-like Xiren to be his opponent.

Cat Xiren gritted his teeth, blocking Rat Xiren's sneak attacks from tricky angles one after another, and righteously cursed, "I really despise your crooked ways!"

"Yeah?"

The Rat-man's lips curled slightly, and he circled his two eagle claws in his hands before launching another attack while the Cat-man was cursing.

Seeing this, Mao Xiren quickly held out his baton to defend himself. Sparks flew as the weapons clashed, and they remained locked in a stalemate.

Seeing this, Shu Xiren didn't immediately jump away. Instead, she leaned forward, her high, firm breasts swaying in the air, and her red lips parted slightly: "Unfortunately, what I like most is crooked ways... Who is it?"

Suddenly, the Rat-like man shouted a rebuke that instantly echoed throughout the entire battlefield, causing everyone to turn their heads away.

Suddenly, a spatial rift tore open in a wall behind a group of gangs, and a girl dressed as a student walked out.

Ruby looked up and immediately spotted the most eye-catching white in the crowd. She waved excitedly at the cat-like man and said, "Uncle Seth, you haven't been doing too well lately... it seems."

Before she could finish her sentence, Ruby suddenly realized that dozens of eyes were staring at her, including some familiar faces, such as the police officer in blue.

But most of them were gang members who looked menacing.

Seeing this, Ruby shrank back a little intimidated.

"Ruby, run! Don't look back!"

Upon seeing Ruby, Seth's face contorted, and he roared with an unknown force.

These words were like a wake-up call. The gang members, who had been stunned, immediately snapped out of their daze. One of them, a muscular man wearing a helmet, shouted:

"This little girl has some connections, grab her quickly!"

The rest of the gang members obeyed the order, quickly shaking off the sheriffs who were confronting them, and ran towards Ruby.

Ruby was immediately terrified, turned and ran, crying out, "Faga, Ellen, save me!!!"
