Extra Chapter: An Ordinary Holiday (1/2)

Scott Outpost.

As the sun sets, the enormous and solemn Hole Zero appears like an inverted bowl on the surface of the city.

Hundreds of people quietly looked up, and at that moment, they felt as if they were a dish of food.

As long as the "bowl" of the zero hole faces this way, everyone can only be slaughtered at its mercy.

But they still stood there, as if waiting for something.

We await the one who can truly shatter the "broken bowl" of Void Zero and reclaim the entire world from within it.

After a while, the Shark-like girl standing at the front suddenly had a glint in her eyes, and a hint of joy appeared in them. She was as excited as a fledgling bird seeing its parents returning home. She took a step forward before everyone else.

But the next second, she seemed to realize her lapse in composure, so she quickly coughed to regain her composure. Amidst the cheers of the crowd, she quietly waited until the vampire who had returned from Void Zero walked up to her, then smiled sweetly:

"Section Chief Fagar, welcome back. Data shows that you have once again broken the record, penetrating 1,200 kilometers into Void Zero."

"In the end, we still couldn't find Professor Archie."

Fagar looked down at the Sharkish girl in front of him who bore a striking resemblance to Ellen, and a slight smile crept onto his lips, as if all his weariness had been washed away, leaving only tenderness in his eyes.

After a while, Fagga shook his head and sighed deeply.

This expedition to Void Zero lasted two months, with the main purpose of finding one of the original Void Hunters, Archie, who had once ventured deep into Void Zero but had been lost for an entire era.

Unfortunately, even though Fagar had reached the limit of what metal instruments could achieve, if it took one more step, all the metal instruments would be instantly corroded to nothing by the extremely violent etheric reaction.

Even with the Black Magic possessing Nineveh, Phaga wouldn't be entirely confident of emerging from the depths of the void.

If we can't move forward, then we have no choice but to turn back.

"That's already very good, Section Chief."

The Sharkgirl smiled sweetly, narrowing her blood-red eyes like a vampire's, revealing four sharp fangs. To Fagar, her smile was like that of an angel.

"This is your seventh time breaking the record, and it's not your fault. With such a high concentration of ether, if we want to go any further, we'll have to wait for our colleagues in the research department to make further scientific and technological innovations."

"and..."

The Sharkgirl opened one eye and stuck out her tongue at Fagga: "Based on the area you've detected so far, the ether resources inside are enough for us to use for hundreds of years."

"Looking at it this way, why do we need to go looking for Professor Archer? Having a great hero like you is enough!"

Upon hearing this, Fagga couldn't help but laugh. His beard, which hadn't been groomed for two months, was pulled apart along with the corners of his mouth, making the young men around him blush and their hearts race.

Even some boys couldn't help but blush, their faces showing longing and anticipation.

Beneath Fagga's slightly颓废 (颓废 is a difficult word to translate directly, but it implies a sense of listlessness, decadence, and apathy) appearance, his smile was like a basin of sunshine pouring down. Like a towering mountain standing tall in the biting wind, it was precisely because he blocked the snow and ice that the light behind him shone so brightly.

Fagga chuckled, revealing four sharp fangs.

Under the watchful eyes of everyone, he bent two fingers and lightly tapped the Shark Girl's forehead, laughing and scolding, "Little brat, you're just talking nonsense."

After saying that, Fagar walked around her and headed out of Scott's outpost.

Perhaps because she had been bullied in public, the Sharkgirl stomped her foot in embarrassment and muttered under her breath, "That's just how it is!"

The Sharkgirl pouted, and only after she realized what was happening did she realize that Fagga had already walked quite a distance. Startled, she quickly chased after him.

Seeing this, the others outside the Zero Hole wanted to join the rush, but before they could take another step, they were stopped by the staff at Scott's outpost and dispersed.

This welcome was unplanned and was entirely spontaneous.

Now that the key figures have left, they should disperse and go about their own business.

As Fagar walked away from Scott's outpost, he simply listened to his footsteps and knew that there was only the Sharkgirl behind him. So he didn't look back but took out his phone.

Upon seeing the date displayed on his phone, Fagga paused for a moment, then subtly slipped the phone back into his pocket, saying with feigned seriousness:

"Luoning, are you going home tonight?"

Upon hearing this, the happy expression on the face of the Sharkgirl, whom Fagga called "Luoning," instantly froze. Her head drooped, her lips pursed, and her face was filled with unhappiness.

"Where would we have time to go back? You brought back so much data from Void Zero. Not to mention analyzing it carefully, just classifying the data would keep the entire Anti-Aircraft Section 7 busy to the point of madness."

As soon as he finished speaking, Luo Ning's big eyes suddenly darted around, and then he leaped forward, using explosive power far exceeding that of a normal Sharkman to pounce on Faga at lightning speed, creating a loud whooshing sound:

"Dad, you can't leave! Stay and help me, you're the section chief!"

But to Luo Ning's surprise, Fagga actually dodged to the side, avoiding her attack.

Moreover, when Luo Ning got up, she found that the etheric crystals that had suddenly sprung up from the ground surrounded her like a cage.

At that moment, her bastard father pinched her cheek, then turned and walked out of Scott's outpost.

Luo Ning's eyes immediately reddened, and a sob filled the air. Her eyes glistened with tears, and she was on the verge of sobbing.

"Playing the victim won't work, little girl."

However, Fagga did not pause at all, nor did he hesitate in his tone. Instead, he smiled brightly.

"A low-level employee like you is born to be enslaved by the great section chief. Just work hard! Maybe you'll get a promotion in a couple of years!"

Hearing this, Luo Ning's face flushed red with anger. His previous pitiful pretense was instantly shattered, and he gritted his teeth, shouting angrily at Fagga's retreating figure:

"You damned capitalist, you even exploit your own daughter!"

"You just wait! Once I finish working overtime, I'm going to team up with Mom and my aunt to make you sleep on the sofa!"

Hahahaha.

From afar, Fagga's loud laughter could be heard.

He waved away the throngs of reporters already crowding in front of Scott's outpost, then suddenly spread his wings and flew far into the sky.

"Let's talk about it after you finish your overtime work!"

As Fagar flew away, the group of reporters crowded in front of Scott's outpost were dumbfounded, and then hung their heads in dejection.

Twenty years have passed since Fagga established the Seven Lessons on the Void.

Every time Fagar returned from exploring Void Zero, they never managed to intercept him.
