The staff checked Attorney Si’s credentials and allowed him to leave after confirming that they were correct.
Si Lu felt the tacit understanding between him and Bei Bei. Although it was the first time they met, he understood every signal Bei Bei gave him, as if the two of them had been getting along for a long time.
Si Lu's mouth corners lifted unconsciously. He finally had a pair of eyes of his own, and life didn't seem so lonely anymore.
"Hey, stop, dogs are not allowed in the mall."
Si Lu patiently explained, "This is a guide dog. I want to go into the mall to take the subway. I will leave soon."
"Guide dogs are also dogs. What if they bite other people?"
"Guide dogs are gentle and will not bite people."
"You said you won't bite, so don't bite?"
The security guard raised his foot and kicked Beibei in the mouth. Si Lu only felt Beibei's body tremble, but he didn't know what happened.
"Beibei?"
Si Lu felt a little strange. After concentrating, he heard a muffled sound this time, like the sound of fists colliding.
Beibei groaned.
"Look! The dog just barked! A barking dog can bite! Get away from here!"
The security guard shouted loudly as if he had found some key evidence. Si Lu could feel the discussions around him increasing, and everyone seemed to be pointing fingers at him.
People seem to enjoy making things difficult for those who can do so within their limited powers.
Si Lu's voice lowered, he turned around, and tapped the front of him with his cane.
"Come on, Beibei. I'm sorry to ask you to accompany me on a longer journey."
But Si Lu couldn't see that the corner of Beibei's mouth was broken and blood was flowing.
