Li Yue lives in a bizarre world filled with supernatural occurrences, constantly creating fake identities ("vests") to navigate through it.
All of this stems from a system in the form of a gray pigeon that assigns him missions. To unlock his new identities, he must earn others' trust. However, the process is always full of misunderstandings.
Every persona, every word he says, somehow gets wildly exaggerated by others’ imaginations. And with imagination comes trust.
Scene One:
"I just want to retrieve what belongs to me," the blind youth says calmly, gently touching the area around his eyes, exuding an aura of harmlessness.
In reality, he’s just trying to sound cool.
After a strange entity is destroyed, those who witness this scene shudder in fear:
"Terrifying! He must possess the power to reverse fate and see through illusions. Who could ever dare take something from such a person?"
Soon, tales spread of the blind youth traveling across eerie realms, searching for his lost eyes. Survivors of these encounters offer a solemn warning:
"Whatever you do, never ask about his eyes."
Scene Two:
Under the cover of night, a delicate-looking child appears on a bustling street. While the scene seems ordinary, hidden forces lay in wait, having already set up an inescapable trap.
"Little one, where are your family members?" a trembling voice asks.
"I don’t know," the child replies innocently, tilting his head with a smile.
To everyone’s shock, the supernatural agent faints from fear at this response.
"Attack now!"
"He's too dangerous—he must be a demon child!"
Li Yue stands in silence, utterly confused by yet another round of baseless assumptions about his identity.
Alternate Title: Every Fake Identity Gets Misinterpreted!
The story is a chaotic mix of good and evil personas, with an abundance of hilarious overthinking from others.
