In "Skyreach City", a futuristic metropolis ruled by four major financial magnates, Lu Chenshen, a cold-blooded heir to one of the magnates, is implanted with the "Scarlet Code" by ...
Priority Correction: Mythic-level energy carrier individual, threat level increased to: Annihilation (pending observation). Implementation Plan Correction: Tracking and monitoring intensity increased to maximum. Prepare to initiate the "Annihilation Protocol" authorization application. This variable... must be cleared. Otherwise... the Entropy Sea Rift... and indeed the entire Order Quadrant... will face unpredictable disasters.
Silently, the observer's shadow swayed slightly like a reflection in water, becoming more ethereal, blending further into the entropic darkness of the background. Its "gaze" became even colder and sharper, like a venomous snake locking onto its prey, penetrating the barriers of time and space.
At the edge of the rift in the Sea of Entropy, the flames of law still burned eternally. Only that silent gaze, filled with unprecedented solemnity and murderous intent, enveloped the deepest wound in the universe.
Garbage graveyard.
The mining ship, the "Digger 7," once as massive as an asteroid, was now nothing but a vast, hideous cavity, its edges rimmed with dark red molten metal. Around the cavity, twisted and broken keels pierced the cold void like the ribs of a giant beast. The shockwave from the explosion completely emptied the garbage dump surrounding the mining ship, leaving behind an eerie, relatively clean spherical area. Only the floating debris in the distance bore witness to the divinely punitive explosion.
In the center of this devastated area, a figure was suspended.
Lin Mo.
He hovered in mid-air, his body in the same hunched, roaring position he'd held at the time of the explosion, like a frozen sculpture. His tattered protective suit had long since crumbled to ash in the energy storm, revealing a young man's thin frame covered in scars, both new and old. Now, those wounds no longer bled, instead coated in a faint, dark golden glow that flickered like breathing. His eyes were tightly closed, his face a sickly pale, the color of exhaustion, his lips parched and cracked.
The most striking thing is the position of his left eye.
The crude mechanical eye, constructed of exposed wiring and cheap photosensitive components, vanished completely. In its place, a dark golden light slowly swirled and condensed like liquid gold! This light wasn't dazzling, yet it held an indescribable depth and majesty, as if countless stars were being born and annihilated within it. Occasionally, a tiny, arc-like, dark red spark would flicker at the edge of the light, fleeting.

[External energy environment: Barren... Unable to meet minimum circulation requirements... Warning! Energy levels continue to decline slowly!]
[Unknown Will Brand: Deep Silence… Status: Unknown…]
A series of cold, inhuman reminders echoed directly from the depths of his consciousness, like a mechanical prayer, repeating endlessly. These sounds were not words, but more like a stream of information that acted directly on his mind, allowing him to "understand" their meaning even in his semi-comatose trance.
Severe pain.
His body felt as if it had been completely torn apart, crushed, and then barely stitched together with crude needlework. Every bone, every muscle, every cell screamed! It was the horrific aftereffect of forcibly bearing a cosmic force far beyond his own limits. A deep-seated weakness washed over him like a tide; even moving a finger felt like exhausting all his strength. Within his body, a cold, vast current slowly flowed and circulated, each flow bringing a tearing pain, but also a faint trace of strength, supporting his final chance of survival.
I'm alive?
This thought flickered faintly in Lin Mo's chaotic mind, like a firefly in the darkness. He remembered Johnny's sinister grin, the energy beam from the pulse pistol, the despair of rushing towards that tiny bit of dark golden light... and then... the overwhelming pain and light that seemed to come from the primordial universe...
"Ugh..." A painful groan finally broke through his dry throat, faintly dissipating in the absolute silence. Lin Mo struggled and extremely slowly opened his right eye. His vision was blurry, and the dizziness was like a hammer hammering at his temple. After several seconds, the scene before him barely focused.
He saw the wreckage of the mining ship below, as if it had been gnawed by a giant beast, the empty space around him, and the floating debris in the distance... Deathly silence. Absolutely deathly silence.
Johnny and the others… not even a trace of them remained. This realization brought a flicker of cold satisfaction through his heart, but it was immediately drowned by deeper confusion and fear.
What happened? What was that light? It penetrated my body... What am I now?
He subconsciously raised his hand to touch his aching chest and the distorted left eye. This simple action caused a violent disturbance in the energy flow within his body!
Buzz!
The liquid gold-like light at the left eye suddenly shone! The field of vision switched instantly!
It is no longer the cold void and metal wreckage seen by the naked eye.
Rather, it was... a vast, boundless web of laws, indescribable, composed of countless flowing dark golden lines and symbols! This vast web covered the entire visual field, stretching to infinity! The nodes of the grid shimmered like stars, and the pure and powerful force of the origin of order flowed between the lines. He was suspended at a very faint node in this vast web, its light dim, as if it would go out at any moment. And within his body, the slowly flowing icy torrent struggled to draw tiny, almost negligible strands of energy from the "veins" of this vast web, maintaining its own circulation.
