The knife was pulled out, and Qian Cheng was completely dead, but it really hurt!

"Ouch! Holy crap!" I couldn't bear the pain in my thigh any longer and cried out.

I kept taking deep breaths, my forehead and back were covered in cold sweat.

"Hiss—whoosh—hiss—whoosh—hold on, hold on, hold on, you must hold on!" I closed my eyes and kept breathing.

After a while, the pain wasn't as intense as before, so I opened my eyes and stared at the hideous wound on my thigh. The wound wasn't long, only about three centimeters.

I took out the crochet hook and thread, and after disinfecting the wound, I began to suture it.

The pain from the wound made my hands tremble. With each stitch, more sweat would pour down my forehead. After each stitch, I had to rest for a while before starting again.

Because it really hurts!

After the three stitches were done, I was completely exhausted.

I leaned against the corner, with Qian Cheng's corpse beside me.

I instinctively reached into my pocket to check the time on my phone, but my pocket was empty.

I glanced at the situation outside the door; there were two corpses lying at the entrance, and the entire hospital was quiet.

With a quick glance, I spotted the axe right at my feet. Without a word, I turned around, grabbed it, and then, to stop the monster's advance, I grabbed a nearby shelf and flipped it over, knocking the monster to the ground!

Those two moves almost used up all my strength.

"No, I have to get out of here!"

I glanced at the door behind me; this was the only way to leave.

I braced myself against the wall, gripped the doorknob, and struggled to my feet. I also managed to pull the dagger out of Qiancheng's head and put it in my pocket, hoping it might come in handy later.

I took a breath, stood in front of the door, and looked back. The monster was blocked by the shelf, but it was not stupid at all. It actually started to squeeze through the gaps on the side!

This shocked and terrified me.

I didn't dare waste any time, so I picked up the axe, imitated how Fei Lichao opened the door before, inserted the tip of the axe into the crack of the door, and then pushed hard.

Gala!

The door didn't open; there was a crack in the door!

"You son of a bitch!" I cursed, and tried again, pushing hard. This time, I managed to pry the lock off.

At this moment, the monster behind me had already bypassed the shelf and arrived behind me.

Without hesitation, I opened the door, dragged my aching leg, and lunged forward, crawling as fast as I could to get away from the monster behind me.

The pain from the wound on my leg made me dizzy. When I looked back, the monster chased after me out of the door.

I glared at myself, pushed myself up with my hands on the ground, and then dragged my injured leg forward.

The ward is just five meters ahead; you should be able to hide there.

Although it was only five meters away, it felt like a hundred meters to me!

I kept moving forward, leaning against the wall, while the monsters behind me kept chasing after me.

Aww!

The moment I reached the doorway, I sensed the monster was already behind me. I decisively went inside, slammed the door shut, and finally breathed a sigh of relief. The monster outside kept banging on the door, but I couldn't be bothered to pay it any attention.

But the story isn't over yet.

As soon as I entered, before I could even process what was happening, there was a monster in the ward!

Aww!

The monster in the ward pounced on me the moment it saw me, with unimaginable speed.

Without thinking, I swung the axe and smashed it down on his head.

The monster stumbled and crashed into the wall. I smashed a third of its head, and even ripped off its face, but it was still alive!

Aww!

He roared, and I swung the axe again, chopping it down on the head until it died.

I couldn't be bothered with the axe embedded in its head, so I walked to the bedside and lay down.
