Chapter 113 Teasing Conan

Seeing Conan's conflicted expression, Kōyū said, "I'll give you a few choices."

Conan and Hattori turned to look at Kōyū: "You have a plan?"

Guangyou nodded: "The first option is for you to go directly to Xiaolan and admit it. I don't think I need to say more about whether Xiaolan will get involved in this matter."

Conan and Hattori nodded. If Ran found out, she definitely wouldn't just stand by and watch without helping; she would definitely get involved.

"The second option is for Ai to impersonate you, then you take the temporary antidote, and then you go and reassure Ran."

Conan hesitated for a moment: "Kuyoshi, if it were you, which one would you choose?"

Kōyū shook his head, took Conan's hand, and placed it on Conan's chest: "Follow your heart. It's hard for me to help you with this. I can give you medicine to relieve your physical pain, but there's no cure for this."

"Follow my heart?"

Conan silently repeated the sentence, and after a long while, his eyes became increasingly determined: "I've decided to keep it a secret for a while longer!"

As he said these words, he silently murmured in his heart, "I'm sorry, Lan..."

Kōyū had an "I knew it" look on his face. He nodded and said, "Okay, I already told Ai about it. You just need to be responsible for meeting with Ran. Remember, you must control your desires and not let your impulse to solve the case ruin this opportunity!"

Conan nodded and replied, "Okay!"

The firmness in his tone made Kōyū believe him for a moment, but Kōyū smiled bitterly to himself: "If you could really control yourself, you would still be Shinichi Kudo, and the character Conan probably wouldn't even exist."

Hattori, who was standing to the side, didn't understand things about controlling desires. He asked curiously, "Why do you say he needs to control his desires?"

Conan seemed reluctant to bring up his dark past, but Kōyū didn't care and explained, "Haven't you noticed that wherever Conan goes, trouble follows? Believe it or not, trouble will probably happen at the amusement park too."

"It can't be that far-fetched, can it?" Hattori looked unconvinced.

Guangyou shrugged. Whether it will happen or not depends on the amusement park in a few days.

Conan seemed to want to change the subject, and since he also had something to ask, he sat half-upright on the bed and asked, "Kuangyou, how did you know I would get injured? What about those medicines?"

"Medicine? What medicine?" Hattori asked curiously.

Conan took two bottles, one red and one blue, from the drawer next to him and handed them to Hattori, saying, "Here, these are the ones. Before I was shot, Kousuke mysteriously gave me these two bottles, and they actually came in handy!"

Hattori opened the blue bottle and smelled it, his expression serious. He quickly opened another red bottle, smelled it again, and seemed to realize something. He said to Kōyū, "Did you take it?"

With Kōyū nodding in approval, Hattori suddenly breathed a sigh of relief: "That's good, at least it wasn't one of those people who took it."

Conan quickly asked what the two were talking about.

Hattori had no choice but to offer an explanation.

The contents of these two bottles are called "Rejuvenating Powder," which was brought from China to Japan for trade. The trade partner is a very notorious Japanese yakuza organization.

It is said that the Rejuvenating Powder can bring the dead back to life and heal flesh and bones. Of course, these are all rumors and the effects are not that exaggerated, but they are definitely not bad. The blue bottle can stop bleeding instantly, and the red bottle can quickly relieve pain and help people concentrate.

As the saying goes, every medicine has some degree of toxicity, but Fuling Powder does not have any obvious side effects. The only side effect is that it will make people eat a lot of food afterward to replenish their energy.

However, this side effect can be completely discarded. It is said that this stuff is in short supply in China, and it was quite difficult to get these two bottles.

This drug was naturally highly sought after by assassins and gangsters, and they had even fought over it before, injuring many people. However, they knew their limits and did not kill anyone, so the authorities did not pay much attention.

Just a few days ago, during a transaction, one side of the underworld wanted to double-cross the other, and coincidentally, a drunk man happened to pass by a place that no one usually went by.

Upon hearing the gunshot, the drunk man instantly sobered up and called the police. He hadn't drunk a lot to begin with, so the effects weren't very strong.

The police quickly organized a large force to surround and suppress the suspects, but when they arrived at the scene, they found that the injured and dead were all gone, and the survivors had all fainted.

"I didn't expect it was you who took it." Hattori breathed a sigh of relief; at least it hadn't been taken by those bad guys. Otherwise, if he had saved their lives, Hattori would have been in a lot of trouble.

"Did you kill someone?" Conan was concerned about whether Mitsuyu had killed anyone. If he had, he would rather not have these drugs. Even if those were bad people, they should be judged by the law.

Guangyou waved his hand: "Don't worry, I only knocked them unconscious. Those who died were their own doing. Didn't you see that the three people in the cave were all unconscious?"

Guangyou had one more thing he didn't say: "The only problem is that the eggs are broken."

Conan breathed a sigh of relief: "Thank you, but how did you know I would get hurt? You were preparing for this a few days ago. I suspect you are the mastermind behind all this."

Suddenly, Kwang-woo smiled mysteriously: "Do you know about divination?"

"I know, you're not trying to tell me you rely on divination, are you?" As a materialist and highly educated high school student, Conan didn't believe in such things.

"Can you explain how you shrunk?"

"I took the medicine, and then I shrank..."
