By the time all the formalities were completed and the registration was finalized, it was well past lunchtime. Jiang Yining finally realized she was starving. Xie Shiyan immediately drove off to buy some light and nutritious food, while his mother accompanied Jiang Yining home to rest.

Almost immediately after they arrived home, Xie Shiyan returned with a lunchbox. Xie's mother helped her son prepare the meal.
