Bai Hao stood there dumbfounded, looking at the security guard who was equally bewildered. Bai Hao didn't understand why Qin Nan still remembered.

After a while, Qin Nan came to her senses while sitting on the sofa. She turned to look at Bai Hao standing to the side, then at the two little babies in the corner who were stealing rat food. She lay listlessly on the sofa.

Qin Nan: "Boss, can you explain this?"

Bai Hao coughed lightly. "Yes, I've said it before, I'm not human."

Qin Nan: "Huh, are you a demon?"

Bai Hao: "No, I am the divine beast Bai Ze."

"..." Qin Nan weakly turned her head to look at Bai Hao, "The Bai Ze auspicious beast from the Classic of Mountains and Seas that can know everything?"

Bai Hao nodded.

Qin Nan then pointed to the two children in the corner who were still chattering away, "Those two?"

Pi Yuan swallowed the rat food in his mouth and smiled at Qin Nan. "Hello, Brother Nan. I am Pi Xiu. My name is Pi Yuan, Pi as in fur and Yuan as in wall."

Qin Nan looked at the two children staring at him with bright eyes, and felt less afraid. Divine beasts were better than ghosts and dead people.

Moreover, these mythical beasts all seem to be auspicious creatures, protecting peace, warding off evil, and ensuring the safety of the home. With this thought in mind, Qin Nan felt much better.

Qin Nan: "Stop eating the rat food, I just bought some snacks, eat those instead!"

Chi Wei and Pi Yuan were taken aback, then looked at Bai Hao with great joy. Bai Hao nodded, and the two little ones immediately ran to the table and started eating.

Bai Hao sat down. "Can you accept that?"

Qin Nan closed her eyes. "Can't I do anything?"

Bai Hao: "It won't matter."

Qin Nan: "Boss, I want to resign."

Bai Hao: "Oh, really? That's a pity. I was planning to double your salary after you became a full-time employee. If you leave, I'll have to find someone else."
