That evening, Qin Nan gave the two children a bath and took them to the empty room on the second floor. This room used to be where their grandparents lived, and it had a large bed that could comfortably accommodate two more children.
The two children lay obediently on the bed. After settling them in and closing the bedroom door, Qin Nan went downstairs to take a shower. Then, wearing her pajamas, she sat on the sofa waiting for Bai Hao. When Bai Hao came out of the bathroom, he was surprised to find Qin Nan still there. He walked over with a puzzled look on his face.
Bai Hao: "What?"
Qin Nan looked at Bai Hao, hesitant to speak, and after a long while, slowly asked, "Can I sleep with you?"
Bai Hao was taken aback, then understood. Qin Nan still couldn't forget what happened in her dream, especially at night, when those scenes were probably even clearer. Bai Hao nodded, "Okay."
Although he doesn't like to interact with people, Qin Nan is an exception; it's quite comfortable to hold her.
In the middle of the night, Bai Hao lay in bed, using one arm as a pillow, feeling quite regretful. Qin Nan was sleeping soundly beside him, holding one of his arms, but he was wide awake.
Bai Hao's hand was positioned on Qin Nan's thigh. Qin Nan was wearing a bathrobe, and Bai Hao was directly touching her skin. Qin Nan was somewhat careful when she was awake, but once she fell asleep, she became completely unrestrained.
Bai Hao remained motionless, yet the sensation continued to emanate from his fingertips. With the slightest movement, he would brush against Qin Nan's inner thigh, where the skin was the most delicate. Bai Hao felt that he was truly suppressing his true nature.
Beasts don't understand the concept of gentlemen; if they like something, they'll possess it. But Bai Hao knew he absolutely couldn't do anything he shouldn't at this time.
Furthermore, Bai Hao currently feels that his feelings for Qin Nan are purely animalistic instincts; he doesn't believe there are any feelings involved. If that's the case, he can't do anything about it. He feels disgusted if it's not something he likes to possess.
