Chapter 36 Misunderstandings Gradually Become Reality

The next day, Qin Nan woke up early and saw Bai Hao looking at her with a somewhat haggard expression. Qin Nan rubbed her sleepy eyes and then felt something between her legs.

Looking down, Qin Nan saw that Bai Hao's hand was being held by her, and his hand was rubbing against a certain spot. Qin Nan blushed instantly and immediately let go of Bai Hao's hand.

Qin Nan: "Yes, I'm sorry, I, I..."

Bai Hao: "I'm hungry."

Qin Nan was taken aback by what he heard, her face turning red to her ears. Bai Hao remained silent for a moment; he didn't mean it that way. He was genuinely hungry.

However, she looks really good with a blush! Bai Hao thought for a moment, then rolled over and pressed down on her, gently kissing Qin Nan's lips before turning back to lie down and catch up on his sleep.

Qin Nan felt his body getting hot, and then watched Bai Hao fall asleep in no time. He looked up at the sky speechlessly, wondering when he would become immune to Bai Hao's face.

Honestly, putting aside Bai Hao's identity, just his face, his physique, and his abs are definitely his favorite type.

But, how to put it... putting aside the issue of the divine beast, he didn't know why, but he just felt a dependence on Bai Hao, yet it didn't seem like love. However, when they were mistaken for a couple before, he wasn't bothered at all, and was even... happy? Could it be that he likes Bai Hao? Impossible, right?

Qin Nan carefully stepped over Bai Hao, got up and went downstairs to cook. If Bai Hao knew that Lü Zeqi would never enter the kitchen, he would be glad that Qin Nan didn't see the kitchen in the dream, otherwise there would really be no food to eat.

Qin Nan only saw the internal organs, eyeballs, and hands. They don't usually eat internal organs, and eyeballs are even less likely. As for the hands, as long as there are no chicken feet, everything is fine.

Qin Nan can cook meat dishes, but she can't eat any meat at all. However, now that there are more people, she has to cook even more food.

Qin Nan made vegetable pancakes, cooked rice porridge, boiled eggs, and made a cold salad. Chi Wei and Pi Yuan came out after smelling the aroma, washed their hands, and sat obediently at the dining table. After Bai Hao came downstairs to wash up and sat down, Qin Nan set out the food, and the four of them started eating.

After breakfast, Qin Nan went to the supermarket and bought various toiletries, slippers, and some fruit. Everything was back on track.

Qin Nan's emotions gradually stabilized, but even though it was embarrassing, she still couldn't sleep alone and had to shamelessly drag Bai Hao to sleep with her every day. However, having learned from the first day's experience, Qin Nan prepared two blankets to avoid embarrassment.

Bai Hao actually had a way to help Qin Nan get a good night's sleep, but seeing Qin Nan shyly sneaking over to ask to sleep together every day, Bai Hao thought it was great. At least he was in a good mood, and with two blankets, there was no more awkwardness, so Bai Hao slept better too.

Aside from cooking more meals, Qin Nan's daily routine remained largely unchanged. As for the Pixiu statue in the front yard, Bai Hao had someone replace it with a new, genuine stone statue.

About five or six days later, Qin Nan dragged Bai Hao and the two children to the front yard to clean up, especially around the well, where there was more grass, but Qin Nan was too afraid to go there.

Chi Wei and Pi Yuan didn't feel anything, because after eating Qin Nan's food, they both became Qin Nan's little fans and worked very hard. Moreover, Qin Nan even bought them new clothes. Although the money was Bai Hao's, Qin Nan was quite important to them.

Bai Hao helplessly swept up the fallen leaves with a broom, while Qin Nan trimmed the branches and flowers.

When Zhou Miao and Lü Zeqi arrived at the old house, they saw what looked like a family of four working together. The two adults were handsome and good-looking, and the two children were cute and adorable, sticking their butts out as they pulled weeds.

"Hey, busy, huh!" Lu Zeqi, dressed casually and wearing black sunglasses, walked into the courtyard and greeted Qin Nan and Bai Hao.

Qin Nan and Bai Hao stopped what they were doing, and Zhou Miao came in after them to greet them.

Qin Nan: "Why are you here?"

Zhou Miao: "Let me thank Boss Bai."

Bai Hao nodded without saying anything. Qin Nan was confused. What was there to thank?

Seeing Qin Nan's puzzled expression, Lü Zeqi leaned over to explain, "Zhou Miao's mother is pregnant!"

"Huh?" Qin Nan was even more confused.

Zhou Miao kicked him, then explained to Qin Nan, "My mom is pregnant."

Qin Nan then realized that Bai Hao meant Zhou Xuan could continue to be Zhou Miao's younger brother, which meant this very thing.

Lu Zeqi rubbed his bottom, looking very aggrieved, "Isn't it all the same thing!"

Zhou Miao glared at him, and Lü Zeqi lowered his head and touched his nose. The baby looked aggrieved but didn't say anything.

Zhou Miao looked at the two children silently pulling weeds by the well and asked, "Are they adopted by you?"

Before Qin Nan could react, Bai Hao spoke first, "Mm."

Lu Zeqi stroked his chin and looked at the two children, "I should have brought two red envelopes."

“A pair.” Zhou Miao smiled calmly, took out a brocade box from his pocket, and handed it to Bai Hao. Last time, he noticed that Bai Hao and Qin Nan were both wearing an earring, so he ordered a pair of matching earrings, one for each of them.

Bai Hao opened the box and looked at the pair of silver earrings inside. He smiled slightly. Qin Nan was puzzled. He thought they were a pair, but Bai Hao only had one ear piercing, just like him. Then Qin Nan was stunned. One earring for each of them?

"Thank you." Qin Nan was about to explain the misunderstanding when Bai Hao preemptively declared that sovereignty was an instinctive instinct. Whether it was matching clothes or a pair of earrings, it was a display of sovereignty, which suited Bai Hao's taste perfectly.

"Miaomiao! You actually brought a gift!" Lu Zeqi was furious; he had come without a mask.

Zhou Miao rolled her eyes at him. "Are you mentally challenged? Do you expect to thank someone empty-handed?"

Lu Zeqi was speechless. He hadn't seen Zhou Miao carrying anything and assumed he hadn't brought anything, but he hadn't expected him to hide it so well! However, Lu Zeqi didn't dare to complain anymore. Zhou Miao was clearly still angry about that matter, and it was already good enough that he wasn't ignoring him.
