Chapter Twenty-One: Did They Hit My Daughter?

Hearing her harsh words, Su Yan tried her best to calmly explain, "You misunderstood, Zishi's mother, that's not what I meant."

Gao Shuyun didn't want to listen to her explanation at all.

"That's not what I meant! Then what do you mean?"

She snorted angrily, crossed her arms and sat there with her legs crossed, looking arrogant and haughty.

Su Yan maintained a polite smile. "Zishi's mother, I know you're anxious right now. But we should still sort this out slowly."

"Although Xiaoyu has a bit of a strange temper, she has never been a bad child who deliberately bullies others. I think there must be a reason for this."

She then looked at the head of the kindergarten and asked, "I wonder if they've had any conflicts before?"

It was finally the principal's turn to speak; he had been holding it in for a long time.

"We did have a little conflict, and I also..."

Upon hearing this, Gao Shuyun immediately bristled like a cat whose tail had been stepped on.

"What child doesn't fight and roughhouse? Does that justify resorting to such insidious and vicious methods?!"

She pointed at the dead rat on the table, roaring excitedly, her spittle practically spitting onto Su Yan's face.

"Alright, I understand now. You just don't intend to take responsibility."

Su Yan looked bewildered. "Zishi's mother, I never said that! If we find out what really happened and it's all Xiaoyu's fault, I will definitely make her apologize."

"stop!"

Gao Shuyun raised her hand and coldly interrupted Su Yan.

She really didn't want to hear Su Yan speak anymore. "Isn't the matter clear enough? How much clearer do you need to be? You're just like your daughter, you won't shed a tear until you see the coffin."

She scoffed and angrily retorted, "Like father, like son!"

At this point, Su Yan's expression also turned cold. Her good manners prevented her from engaging in a public, shrewish argument with Gao Shuyun.

Seeing that she didn't speak, Gao Shuyun became even more confident.

"Director, what exactly do you plan to do about this?"

She is now pressuring the principal to give her a reasonable answer.

Looking at her aggressive demeanor and recalling what Yi Kangle had said, the headmaster felt a mix of emotions.

What would such an arrogant person be like if they really knew the truth?

“Zishi’s mother, I think Xiaoyu’s mother is right. We should hear what happened.”

Upon hearing this, Gao Shuyun's expression changed drastically.

In her view, the kindergarten director was now on the same side as Su Yan.

She was furious and grabbed her bag, standing up abruptly.

"You're deliberately showing favoritism, aren't you? Fine! I'll make a huge fuss about this, and I refuse to believe we can't get a satisfactory result!"

Without waiting for the principal to speak, she turned and left.

As soon as the door opened, they bumped right into Teacher Su, who was leading Su Xiaoyu and Yi Kangle over.

"Zishi's mother!"

Teacher Su exclaimed in surprise.

Gao Shuyun didn't answer, pushed her away without any politeness, and walked outside.

Her turning to the side allowed Su Yan, who had stood up and walked to the door, to see Su Xiaoyu.

"Xiaoyu, what happened to your face?"

Although Su Xiaoyu's face received timely treatment, the redness and swelling were difficult to subside for a while, making her look particularly frightening.

Su Xiaoyu didn't say anything, but turned her head and glared fiercely at Gao Shuyun as she left.

Su Yan instantly realized, "She hit me?"

She confirmed it again and again.

Su Xiaoyu nodded without hesitation.

The moment she nodded, Su Yan's eyes changed instantly, turning as cold as a sharp dagger.

Despite wearing high heels, she walked as if on flat ground.

She shoved Teacher Su aside with her shoulder, rushed behind Gao Shuyun in two or three steps, and grabbed her hair with one hand.

"ah!"

At Gao Shuyun's cry of pain, Su Yan grabbed her and turned to walk towards the principal's office.

As she shoved Gao Shuyun into the office, she also unceremoniously pushed the principal and Teacher Su out of the office, hooking her right foot around the door frame and pulling them forcefully.

The door slammed shut.

Gao Shuyun looked at her in a panic, her face filled with undisguised fear.

What are you going to do?

She cowered in a corner, raising her voice to question Su Yan, hoping to scare her away.

Seeing her terrified gaze, Su Yan decisively locked the door and drew the curtains on the window.

Her upbringing forbade her to engage in a verbal battle with Gao Shuyun, who was known for her shrewish ways.

but!

Anyone who dares to touch Xiaoyu will be in for a world of hurt!

Su Yan glanced at the camera on the wall, took off her coat, and tossed it in that direction, the coat just covering the camera.

She turned her head and slowly took off the bracelet from her wrist. With a "bang," she slammed the bracelet onto the table beside her, rolled up her sleeves, and went towards Gao Shuyun.

Everything happened so fast that the principal and Teacher Su didn't even have time to react.

The headmaster tugged hard at the doorknob, but it wouldn't budge.

He turned around and angrily rebuked Teacher Su: "Why did you bring Xiaoyu and the others here at this time!"

Teacher Su was also panicked. "Principal, what should we do now?"

"Hurry up and find the spare key!" The headmaster stamped his feet in frustration.

"Oh! Oh! Oh!"

Teacher Su hurriedly agreed and limped to the front desk.

At this moment, the two children, Su Xiaoyu and Yi Kangle, were already standing on small stools, tiptoeing, and peering through the window.
