Gu Li's voice came through the mist, slightly muffled.

"Did you see anything?"

Reid then noticed the chill on his neck, and his slightly trembling pupils looked down at his neck.

"Aaaaaahh ...

The moment Gu Li heard Reid scream, he pulled him back. But less than a minute after emerging from the mist, Reid looked as if he had seen the most terrifying thing.

He looked as if he had been pulled out of the water, his chest heaving violently, and his eyes were filled with terror as he looked at Gu Li: "What did you do?!"

"Did you bring all those...those monsters outside?"

Reid stared intently at Gu Li's softly sculpted profile, her exceptionally beautiful blue eyes turning to look at him upon hearing his words.

Reed seemed to see a hint of mockery and sighing in his eyes.

What do you mean by that?

He instantly flew into a rage, baring his teeth and claws as he tried to pounce on Gu Li.

To everyone's surprise, Reid's seemingly useless teammate, whom he thought would inevitably fall out with Gu Li, suddenly gave him a casual glance, and Reid froze on the spot.

For a moment he thought he was dead.

Warm liquid flowed uncontrollably from between his legs. Reed collapsed to the ground, his eyes looking at Gu Li with longing.

Gu Li glanced at He Shiyi, who had no expression, and kindly explained, "That's just the tip of the iceberg of Nicholas. Are you sure you want to ask him for anything?"

Reed recalled the fleeting glimpse he had just witnessed and suddenly felt a chill run down his spine.

"Then...we'll all be eaten, won't we?"

He murmured softly.
