Other people transmigrate and either...

Chapter 121 I am a person of integrity

Tobacco Field.

"Ahem, Mr. Leakins, what is that thing you're holding in your hand?"

Joey feigned ignorance, looking on with curiosity.

"Uh... this?"

Leggins opened his palm, and the controller in his hand glowed with a faint blue light. The exact material was unclear, at least Joey couldn't tell. Perhaps this material was something that only existed on the Draenei's original homeworld!

"Yes, this is it. I see that Lord Leaks treasures it quite a bit!"

Joey suppressed her excitement and tried her best to appear natural.

"It's just an ordinary stone, but you develop an attachment to it after carrying it around for a long time!"

Leaks was unwilling to hand over this controller so easily; it could control the lives of hundreds of people.

"Is it just an ordinary stone?"

"Yes!"

"This will do. We're friends now, and I don't want to ask you for an exorbitant price. I'll just take a regular stone from you!"

Joey seized the opportunity and directly picked up on what Leggins had said.

Leaks was caught off guard by Joey's words and suddenly found himself in a passive position.

“Mr. Joey…”

“Mr. Leaks, I am a businessman. Since you are talking business with me, there must be something to exchange, wouldn’t you say?”

"That's natural, what I mean is..."

"Mr. Leaks, to be honest, I've already decided to leave. You can't do business properly in a chaotic city; after all, I'm not an arms dealer!"

Joey pressed on relentlessly, not wanting Leigh to have any more thoughts of backing out.

"Oh well!"

Leaks finally relented.

A barely perceptible smile flashed across Joey's face.

Leighins handed over the controller, getting closer and closer, and Joey had already raised his hand, ready to take the payment for the deal.

"Dear Mr. Joey, I hope you can promise to take me away from here!"

Leaks pulled his hand back.

"Of course, I value integrity above all else when doing business!"

Joey patted his chest and said confidently.

(Taking it out is fine, but I can't guarantee whether it will be carried out upright or horizontally!)

"Alright then!"

This time, Leggins readily handed over the controller. He cared more about his own life. These Draenei were originally under his protection for Lord Saril, but now that he had betrayed them, they were no longer of much concern to him.

Joey took the controller, intending to examine it more closely, when Leggins couldn't help but speak up again: "Mr. Joey, there's a small button on this rock, please don't touch it!"

Thanks to Leigh's reminder, Joey noticed a button the size of a fingernail in the center of the blue-glowing controller.

"Okay, I understand! Thanks for reminding me!"

"Since Lord Leggins intends to come with us, then stay. We won't need to call you again later!"

After Joey finished speaking, he winked at Medes and Beard, who immediately understood and pounced on Leigh Kings.

Because the incident happened so suddenly, before Leggins could even draw his sword, he was easily subdued by Medes and the bearded man, who had his hands tied behind his back.

"This... Mr. Joey... what does this mean?"

"Didn't you say you were the most trustworthy person?"

Before Joey could answer, Carl, who had been hiding behind him, walked out excitedly. When Leggins saw Carl, he instantly understood everything and collapsed to the ground like a deflated balloon.

"Don't be so discouraged, Mr. Leakins, our business dealings are still valid!"

Joey walked over to Leggins, took his sword, and tossed it to Carl.

"I...I knew it, Mr. Joey, you're a man of integrity!"

Leigh's complexion improved slightly, but only by a tiny bit.

"Karl, it's your turn now!"

Joey walked over to Carl, whispered something in his ear, and handed him the controller she had just received.

“I don’t mind taking Leigh’s body out of here; I just want to be an honest businessman!”

Carl took the controller, and a long-lost smile appeared on his face.

Joey strode toward the gate of the tobacco field, and Little Black quickly caught up and jumped onto his shoulder, while Carl had already drawn Leggins' sword from its sheath.

"What...what are you going to do? Mr. Joey said he would take me out!"

“Karl…you’re called Karl, right? We’ve known each other for so many years, you…”

Before Leggins could finish speaking, Karl's longsword had already pierced through his body.

Blood flowed from the longsword, dripping onto the uncleaned snow, turning it a deep crimson.

His face was filled with disbelief, and he was filled with resentment even as he died.

The bearded man and Medes released their grip, and Leaks fell face down, motionless.

Joey wasn't a bloodthirsty person, and besides, the final payment to Leigh hadn't even been settled yet. The fact that he chose to hand him over to Carl shows that he really didn't like this hypocritical businessman.

The flames inside the city grew larger and larger, and shouts of battle rose and fell, indicating that it would be difficult to determine a victor for the time being.

"Mr. Joey, what brings you here?"

When the gatekeeper saw Joey coming over, he asked her a question very respectfully.

The situation inside the city made the gatekeeper a little nervous, but he relaxed a bit after seeing Lykins return, feeling that it was much safer to follow Lykins.
