With a flick of his wrist, he strode to catch up with Yang Qingheng.

Song Hengjue gave her a cold look and shook off her hand.
When Master Xu came out of the police station, he happened to see this scene. His teasing eyes swept over the two of them: "Did you have a fight?"
"No." Xu Lan shook her head, eager to ask him something, and led him outside.
After wandering through several alleys, the group finally entered a secluded little house.
"How is my cousin?" Xu Lan grabbed Xu Erye's arm as soon as he entered the room, before he even sat down. His face was tense.
Master Xu took out a cigarette from his pocket and held out his hand to Song Hengjue: "A lot of people have been arrested this time. I'm afraid the higher-ups have already noticed. It will be difficult for your cousin to get out."
“How is it difficult!” Xu Lan said angrily. “He’s just someone who helped you sell bags. His crime isn’t serious. Even if he’s locked up, it’ll only be for a few months. You can help him smooth things over and he’ll be out. Do you expect him to take the blame for this huge crime?”

He knew exactly how much money Yang Qingheng had made for him over the past few months, and she hadn't treated him badly. If he were to betray her, he would be worse than an animal.
Xu Lan's face darkened when she heard that he would rather break off relations with them than reveal the identity of Boss Yang.
