Shen Yanxiu released his hand from Su Jin's. "I'm sorry, I didn't know you had family at home."
His composure vanished, leaving only helplessness and guilt from being caught in the act.
Su Jin took his hand again. "She knows."
Those three words calmed Shen Yanxiu's flustered breathing.
He looked down at their clasped hands.
He truly found happiness.
Lin Shi had an expression that said, "I understand."
"Oh my, I really didn't expect that you two would actually fall in love. You're a lucky guy. My sister has been married before, so she knows how to pamper a man."
Lin Shi's eyes gleamed with gossip. "How did you two end up dating? Can you tell me?"
Su Jin took off her coat. "If you like it, then let's talk."
Dating is not as complicated as marriage.
Lin Shi said casually, "Look at you, you need a reason to like someone, otherwise it will make our little Shen very sad."
When Shen Yanxiu was mentioned, he said, "No, I'm not sad. She's been very good to me."
He was busy folding clothes and wiping furniture, but his ears were perked up.
Su Jin symbolically stopped him twice, "Don't bother tidying up, sit with me for a while."
Shen Yanxiu wiped his hands. "Okay, I'll clean up later."
Su Jin reached out and pinched his cheek. "So good."
Shen Yanxiu rubbed her palm against his.
She told Lin Shi, "I just like him like that. He took good care of me when we were on set."
Lin Shi showed her support; "Did they develop feelings for each other while filming?"
"What? He doesn't have many scenes, and I don't have many scenes with him. I just like him as a person."
Shen Yanxiu stood beside Su Jin, watching her speak.
Su Jin waved to him, signaling him to lower his head.
Then I kissed him on the cheek.
"!"
Lin Shi was utterly shocked. "What are you doing? You're openly killing a dog!"
She squatted down and hugged the bread, crying bitterly, "Godmother, you're all I have left. They all treat me like a dog."
Shen Yanxiu's first reaction was that he had just come back from outside and was too dirty, so how could she kiss him?
"Ah Jin, you're so dirty, I haven't washed myself properly yet..."
Su Jin gently rubbed his handsome face. "Where is it dirty? You're still so handsome."
Shen Yanxiu felt a tingling sensation all over his body from the praise, almost melting in her sweet words.
Lin Shi interrupted their tender moment, "You've gone too far. Do you really think I don't exist?"
Su Jin gave her an embarrassed smile.
"I can't help it, I just want to kiss him."
She turned to Shen Yanxiu and said, "Could you help me tidy up my bedroom? I was too tired yesterday and didn't tidy up anything."
Shen Yanxiu frowned and reached out to massage the acupoints on her neck. "Are you still tired? Do you want to go to sleep for a while? Let me massage you."
