Su Jin shook her head. "It's much better now."
"Okay, I'll go pack up."
Shen Yanxiu, with great insight, closed the bedroom door and tidied up.
Only Su Jin and Lin Shi remained in the living room.
"What's going on with you? You really like him?"
Su Jin asked in confusion, "Why would I be with him if I don't like him?"
Lin Shi expressed her confusion, "When your system was around, you clearly hated Shen Yanxiu, so why do you like him now that it's gone?"
Su Jin herself did not give a reply.
"Maybe it's because I saw it."
"..."
Su Jin: "Just kidding. I never really disliked him before, I was just indifferent to him."
Lin Shi: "So, why do you like him? It's not to get revenge on your ex-husband, is it?"
Su Jin was almost entirely resisting. "Excuse me, am I that naive? Of course I like his soul."
Lin Shi scoffed, "Give me a break. You like his soul? I think you just like his face and his virtuous personality."
Su Jin patted her on the shoulder, "Keep your voice down, he's still inside."
About ten minutes later, Shen Yanxiu opened the bedroom door and obediently reported the progress, "It's almost done cleaning, but there are some places that I haven't wiped."
"Thank you for your hard work."
Su Jin reached out to pat his head as a reward.
Shen Yanxiu noticed this and obediently lowered his head to enjoy the caress.
Lin Shi expressed her utter disgust at this scene.
Shen Yanxiu appeared normal, but in reality, he was ecstatic. If Lin Shi hadn't been there, he probably would have been trembling and hugging Su Jin tightly.
