Chapter Ninety-Eight: The Sword That Slays Gods



In the city center, a magnificent and beautiful crystal castle is under construction.

"Gods above...have I arrived in the kingdom of God?"

Even though many in the crowd came from the wealthy city of Denton.

However, they were also stunned by the city before them.

They could not describe their feelings at this moment even with all their words.

"Are you all here for the food festival?"

Several very beautiful ladies, dressed in gorgeous gowns, walked gracefully toward them.

Both adults and children were stunned.

Joanna bent down and smiled slightly at a little boy who was clinging to his mother's skirt.

"Are you here for the food festival?"

"Yes, you're so pretty, big sister!"

Joanna couldn't help but laugh even more heartily as she was coaxed by the child.

"Here, take this." She took out a piece of chocolate and gave it to the child.

"Then, everyone, please follow me."

Joanna took a detour and led everyone on a tour of the solemn and imposing municipal office area.

Then there are the luxurious upscale residential areas.

It was a glamorous commercial street.

All the beautifully built shops had "For Rent" signs hanging on them.

However, these places look like no one lives there.

Many people in the crowd increasingly doubted whether they were dreaming and had come to God's kingdom.

Several people secretly pinched their thighs.

"hiss!"

It hurts!!

Finally, Joanna led everyone to the lively food festival.

"Alright, this is the venue for the food street, Emerald City Food Street," Joanna said with a smile.

One person muttered to himself, "Emerald City... why does that sound familiar?"

However, just then, a deep, high-pitched male voice rang out, "Meteor Fried Rice!!!"

Then, a golden light shot into the sky with a "whoosh".

Everyone: My God! It was a shooting star!?
