The wooden dragon's target was the three heavily armored warriors who were blocking Linda's way.

Screams erupted incessantly. Pauli and the other two heavily armored warriors had already been nearly beaten to a pulp by Linda. When the Forest Dragon's Wrathful Fang was unleashed, it was utterly devastating, smashing the three of them to pieces, and even shattering their giant shields in two.
The vine dragon's offensive showed no signs of abating; it opened its massive maw and aimed at the swordsmen and spearmen in the middle row.
"Don't come any closer! Don't come any closer!" The swordsman was a thin man, staring wide-eyed in terror as he cried out in panic.
