Chapter 18 Su Mei Leaves in Haste

"What is this? What are you doing?" Wan'er reached out and held a yellow talisman folded into a triangle in her palm, her face grim.

"This, this," feeling ashamed, Su Mei dared not look directly at Wan'er, but lowered her head slightly and glanced at the little prince who had already gotten off the ground and was sitting on the small stool opposite her.

At this moment, the kitten still looked energetic and unharmed; Su Mei's talisman had no effect on it.

"Su Mei, let me tell you, from now on, don't even think about her anymore, because I've never believed she's an evil spirit. It's just that your own paranoia is getting worse and worse." Wan'er angrily pinched a triangle with her fingers and quickly peeled off the yellow paper wrapping it. A pungent smell of blood wafted out, and in the center of a square talisman, there was some dark red powder.

Wan'er sniffed, lowered her head to smell it, and frowned, saying, "You got this from him again, didn't you? You even used dog blood and black rice. It's all crooked and evil stuff. Can't you be more careful? You saw it yourself, he's perfectly fine. Your test failed. He's not the evil thing you're talking about."

"I...I was just worried about you!" Su Mei said, her left hand gripping her right wrist, as if intentionally trying to hide something. A mixture of shock and guilt made her face turn deathly pale.

"Meimei, I know you feel sorry for me, but you have to believe me. There are some things I can handle myself." Wan'er sighed, looking at Su Mei with a complicated expression, and asked with concern, "You look a little pale, are you alright?"

"It's okay, as long as you're okay, I'm okay too." Su Mei quickly cheered herself up and deliberately straightened her body.

Hmph! This woman has ill intentions. If it weren't for Wan'er's sake, I would have given her a good scratch. Consider this a warning.

The little prince closed his eyes and then opened them again, blue light flowing in them.

"Beep beep!" Just then, the bedroom phone rang. Wan'er walked into the bedroom and picked up the phone. "Hello, Third Uncle, oh, you found the person? Okay, I'll be right there."

After hanging up the phone, Wan'er was a little excited. She turned around, opened the wardrobe, took out a set of clothes, and while changing, called out to Su Mei outside the door, "Su Mei, I have to go to the cemetery..."

"Well, I won't keep you company then. It's my boyfriend's birthday today, so I have to go back first. I'll give you the car. You can drive yourself." Su Mei stood up and tossed a key onto the sofa with a "thud."

"Okay, you should go back and get some rest." Not noticing anything amiss with Su Mei, Wan'er readily agreed, figuring she should be going home after working overtime until now.

The door opened, and Su Mei's footsteps quickly faded away.

With a white, deformed hair clip tied in her hair and wearing a gray casual jacket, Wan'er walked out of the bedroom. The Little Prince was nowhere to be seen in the living room. "Little Prince, Little..."

As Wan'er was calling out, the toilet door opened, and the little prince raised his head, meowed at Wan'er, and then turned back to look in the direction of the toilet.

"You went to the toilet?" Wan'er hurried a few steps, curiously opened the toilet door, and a strange smell hit her nose. It turned out that the little prince wanted her to flush the toilet for him.

"Splash!" Wan'er raised her hand and turned on the button on the water tank, and the water flowed merrily.

"This kitten is quite nice. It was trained very well by its previous owner," Wan'er smacked her lips proudly.

"Little Prince, I have to go out for a bit. Would you like to come with me, or stay home and keep watch?" Wan'er turned off the water, tightened her hair, and stepped out of the bathroom...
