"Brother Qianfo," feeling a little weak all over, Su Mei frowned as she spoke, raised her eyes, and gently tossed her head before calming herself down and facing Qianfo. Although her tone was gentle, her face was stiff. "Su Mei also wants to be your canary, but I want to fulfill your wish even more, brother, and help you get rid of this evil spirit. I've remembered everything you said."
"What did I say?" A green light flashed in Thousand Buddha's eyes, and he curled the right corner of his mouth.
"You said that as long as you get this sorted out, your injury will heal, and you can become a real man, right?" When Su Mei said this, she felt that her tongue was a little out of her control, but she felt that what she said was flawless.
"I knew my little darling would do anything for me, and she deserves my love." Qianfo nodded in satisfaction, the cold light in his eyes fading. "Smack!" Qianfo turned his head, pouted, and kissed Su Mei on the cheek.
"You want me to go to Wan'er's house, but when exactly should we start?" Su Mei lowered her head shyly, then turned to look at Qian Fo, her eyes misty and full of affection.
"Let's do it tonight." Releasing his arms from Shumei, Qianfo's tone was gentle, yet it also carried a hint of coolness.
“Oh,” Su Mei nodded, walked to the wardrobe, and opened it. “Then, I should also organize some clothes.”
"Don't take these clothes." Qianfo walked over and stopped her. "These clothes will have my scent on them. If she is really some kind of evil being, she might also have some abilities. She will soon discover our secret. To be on the safe side, let's leave these clothes here."
"You mean, I should buy new clothes?" Su Mei looked up at Qian Fo, wanting to say something, but ultimately gave up. She nodded obediently, "I was inconsiderate. I'll do as you say. I'll just wear those old clothes that I've kept here for ages."
Su Mei turned around expressionlessly, walked through the door to the small room next door, opened a cardboard box against the wall, and a faint musty smell wafted out. Inside the box were several sets of old clothes and a worn-out denim bag. She reached out and hugged the clothes and bag to her chest, then left the small room, passed through the bedroom, and entered the changing room...
A moment later, Su Mei appeared at the door wearing a blue sweater with a pattern on the chest, paired with a light-colored denim skirt, and carrying a denim bag on her back, looking rather sullen...
"Alright, I'm leaving now. Take good care of yourself," Su Mei said, standing by the open door. She reached out and ran her hand through her neck, pulling the hair from her collar and letting it fall down.
In that instant, Qianfo saw a small red dot appear in the middle of the back of her neck, like blood, but it quickly disappeared beneath Su Mei's skin.
The strange light in Qianfo's eyes subsided, and the smile on his lips disappeared. "No need to turn back. I'll come find you if anything happens. Forget about this place for now."
“Okay,” Su Mei bent down to put on her shoes, only giving a brief reply. She didn’t turn back, but quickly walked a few steps forward and entered the elevator opposite…
Finally free from having to think of ways to deal with this woman, Qianfo seemed to breathe a sigh of relief after the elevator doors closed. He slowly turned around and walked back to his bedroom.
His gaze was fixed on the glass of milk Su Mei had drunk from, a chilling aura gathering in his eyes. Sometime earlier, red blood had appeared at the bottom of the glass, where the liquid should have been white…
