The door opened, and Su Mei, with disheveled hair and hunched shoulders, appeared at the door.
Su Mei's face was sallow, and she looked somewhat dejected. The usually impeccably dressed woman was not wearing any makeup. She was still wearing the same old, outdated clothes.
This version of Su Mei seems a bit off.
“Su Mei? You…” Wan’er’s gaze fell on Su Mei’s right hand, where she was holding a milky white suitcase covered in yellow stains.
Upon seeing Wan'er, Su Mei, who had been staring blankly, seemed to quickly come to her senses. She put down her suitcase, took a step forward, stretched out her arms, and hugged Wan'er's shoulders, bursting into tears, "I'm homeless."
With their cheeks pressed together, a cool, damp sensation washed over Wan'er, causing her to shiver involuntarily.
"Let's go inside first," Wan'er sighed, realizing that Su Mei was having relationship problems. She tilted her head and gently patted Su Mei's back.
Wan'er reached out and grabbed her suitcase, turned sideways and put her arm around her as they went into the house. Wan'er then kicked the door shut with a "bang!"
"Did you two have a fight?" Pushing her suitcase aside, Wan'er pulled Su Mei to the sofa and sat down.
“He…he has fallen in love with someone else again,” Su Mei said, tears streaming down her face. She looked up at Wan’er, her eyes filled with grievance. “Waaah!” Su Mei covered her face with her hands and sobbed.
"So you have nowhere else to go? You're bringing all your belongings and coming to me for refuge?"
"I beg you to take me in, heroine." Su Mei looked up, her eyes brimming with tears, and grabbed Wan'er's arm.
"We'll talk about taking him in later. But something doesn't seem right. I remember you saying that your relationship was very strong, that you only had eyes for him, and he only had eyes for you. How could there be such a sudden reversal? Are you just making things up?"
"No!" Su Mei denied immediately, her eyes flashing with cold light. "We've been together for almost three years, and we've never even had a serious argument. He's always been very good to me. Yes, it was that vixen who seduced him."
"A vixen?" Wan'er's eyes widened.
"Yes!" Su Mei released the bowl, clenching her fists through gritted teeth. "When I got back this afternoon, I saw him in bed with a woman..."
"What a scumbag! What a scumbag! It's a pity I don't know him, otherwise, no matter when I run into him, I'll kick him..." Wan'er stood up, angrily raised her foot and kicked, and with a "bang!" her toe hit the coffee table.
"Ouch!" Wan'er gasped, withdrew her foot, and sat back down on the sofa.
"Look how angry you are," Su Mei almost burst out laughing at her, bent down, put Wan'er's left foot on her knee, and reached out to massage Wan'er's toes...
A delicate fragrance wafted over, and Su Mei relaxed her brows, sniffed, and asked curiously, "Huh? Everyone else's feet smell bad, but yours are so fragrant. Wan'er, what kind of magical perfume did you use?"
"No, I never use perfume," Wan'er sniffed, bent down and smelled her toes. "It does smell a little nice."
"Tsk tsk, that's natural scent! I always thought you were wearing perfume." Su Mei shook her head, holding Wan'er's feet and lifting them towards herself...
"Let go!" Her body was being pulled backward, and Wan'er quickly reached behind her to prop herself up. In her haste, she kicked Su Mei, sending her sprawling to the other end of the sofa. "If you keep doing this, I won't take you in anymore."
“I can’t refuse to take you in, I’m going to cling to you now…” Su Mei got up and was about to pounce on Wan’er…
