So Qiuyang picked up where his mother left off:

The husband was suddenly taken away, so he probably didn't have any money on him, or he was preoccupied with other things.
"Autumn Harvest, Autumn Cicadas, and Su Xiaowei, let's eat together. We're all hungry, so don't wait any longer. We'll save some food for your dad."
Jiang Yuping felt that waiting any longer was too late and unnecessary.
If it weren't summer, the food on the table would have been cold long ago.
However, none of the seven people at the table touched their chopsticks.
Just then, Qiu Shou, with his keen hearing, heard footsteps coming up the stairs from below.
The footsteps were quick, and they hurried upstairs.
Qiu Shou thought to herself, "It must be my father coming back."
"Mom, Dad's home."
"Autumn harvest," he said with certainty.
Jiang Yuping looked at her son:
"You must be starving after the autumn harvest, let's eat."
She felt that her son must miss his father terribly and was hoping that his father would appear immediately.
"Mom, I'm going downstairs to greet Dad."
As Qiu Shou spoke, he got up from his seat, opened the door, and was about to rush downstairs.
Just then, everyone heard a series of hurried footsteps coming from the stairwell.
Everyone started to get excited, even though the footsteps might not be Qiu Jingwen's.
Jiang Yuping was first excited, then nervous, and then somewhat disappointed.
Because she knew her husband, Qiu Jingwen, too well, the footsteps coming up could not possibly be the sound of her husband's feet.
Just as Qiu Shou stepped out of the house to welcome her father home, a figure appeared at the door.
Everyone was stunned when they saw it.
The person standing in front of the door was not Qiu Jingwen, but Liang Damin.
Liang Damin's clothes were completely soaked, and his forehead was covered in sweat.
Jiang Yuping's heart skipped a beat when she saw Liang Damin's expression.
She immediately realized that something had happened to her husband!
Liang Damin walked into the restaurant and looked at Jiang Yuping, saying hurriedly:
“Jiang Yuping, your Lao Qiu, he---he---”
