If they knew someone was spying on them, who knows what they might do in this remote place!
Thinking of this, Wu Er turned around and started running, but stopped after a few steps.
Something feels wrong. Why isn't anyone chasing after us?
Wu Er turned around and looked at the back gate of the courtyard.
The gate to the courtyard was half open, and you could see inside; there was no one in the courtyard.
Nobody here?
Wu Er patted his chest, also letting out a sigh of relief.
It was lucky that no one was around, and the owner of the courtyard also didn't lock the door when no one was there.

Wu Er was made to speak by the disgusting atmosphere in the courtyard.
Then he looked around the rest of the yard, wanting to pick up some more fur or something similar.
In the corner of the wall, there was a pile of furs, piled up quite high, reaching up to an adult's waist.
Wu Er naturally walked over, reached out and took some furs, but not too many, since they belonged to someone else and he was stealing.
There was no other way; it was a last resort. I could only cut back on those amounts to ease my conscience.
After taking a few pieces of fur, something was revealed beneath the pile of fur—it was made of iron...
Upon closer inspection, it turned out to be a cage.
Wu Er casually flipped over some of the fur, revealing the entire cage and the contents inside.
Inside the cage, there was a small wolf cub that was unconscious.
It's a little gray wolf.
