Chapter 233: The Little Angel Who Can Paint

Ou Yangfu quickly sent over a video clip, lasting for about a minute. As a precaution, Ye Rongyuan watched it first.

The video seemed a bit old, showing a scene from a first birthday celebration. Old Mr. Ou was holding a baby boy and looked very happy, surrounded by a harmonious atmosphere.

Ye Rongyuan noticed a resemblance between the baby and Ou Yangfu. This kid actually dug out a video from over a decade ago just for his father’s sixtieth birthday.

After watching the video, Ye Rongyuan didn’t think there was anything worth painting. He played the video again, this time with little one.

Qin Sui’an watched the video on the phone attentively, examining each frame carefully with her round, big eyes blinking occasionally.

After the video ended, Ye Rongyuan bent down, curious about little one’s expression. "Ann, we finished watching the video."

Qin Sui’an’s eyes sparkled, and she held his arm, asking, "Uncle, do we have drawing tools?"

Ye Rongyuan immediately understood that little one had thought of what to draw. "Wait a moment."

He settled little one on the couch, then went to call Lucy, asking her to bring drawing paper and pens.

Lucy was highly efficient and returned with the materials in just a few minutes. "Master Rongyuan, here are the tools for drawing."

"Thank you." Ye Rongyuan took them and returned to the living room, placing the paper and pens on the table.

Qin Sui’an was too small to reach the table from the couch. Ye Rongyuan then had Jie Hansi bring over a portable table and chair from the adjacent resting room, perfectly sized for little one.

After setting everything up, he sat beside little one, watching her pick up the drawing pen and concentrate on the paper.

Ye Rongyuan couldn’t help but show a doting expression, smiling as he watched little one.

The phone buzzed several times, with messages from Ou Yangfu. Ye Rongyuan didn’t bother being polite and replied directly: "Deposit one million as a down payment to me."

[Ou Yangfu: Okay, Rongyuan Lord! [Heart][Spinning]]

Shortly after, Ye Rongyuan received a text message alerting him of the one million deposit into his account.

After receiving the down payment, he searched for the prices of some renowned artists’ works. Although Ann was still young, her paintings were indeed impressive, even under such urgent circumstances.

From a businessman’s perspective, Ye Rongyuan was determined to help Ann make a good profit! He wouldn’t let Ann suffer!

In the room, Old Madam Ye, Old Master Ye, and Ye Liyuan listened to the commotion outside. When it quieted down, they exchanged glances.

As if reaching an unspoken agreement, the three of them stood up simultaneously and quietly approached the door, peeking outside.

They saw little one sitting in front of the small table, earnestly painting something.

Ye Rongyuan gestured for them to be quiet and mouthed, "Ann is painting."

They didn’t need him to say it; they could see for themselves.

Worried that their presence might disturb little one’s painting, Old Madam Ye, Old Master Ye, and Ye Liyuan just stood at the doorway, watching quietly.

For nearly an hour, they finally stepped out of the room after Qin Sui’an had put down her paintbrush, indicating she had finished painting. Ye Rongyuan approached and carefully examined the painting little one had created, then widened his eyes in surprise.

Despite watching the same video, he was utterly baffled and couldn’t imagine anything worth painting. However, little one, after watching the video only once, quickly created this complete painting, and it didn’t even require any modifications—she got it right on the first stroke.

Originally planning to charge Ou Yangfu a few million based on market prices, Ye Rongyuan decided to raise the price after seeing this painting! 𝙛𝒓𝒆𝙚𝒘𝒆𝓫𝙣𝓸𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝒄𝒐𝓶

Old Madam Ye came over to little one, embraced her gently, and asked, "Ann, are you tired?" Seeing her paint two pictures in one day made her heart ache.

"Hehe~" Qin Sui’an smiled, leaning against her grandmother’s embrace without answering, just relaxing comfortably. Old Madam Ye gently massaged her small hands to relieve the soreness in her fingers.

"Have you been tired since you didn’t take a nap today, Ann?"

This time, little one responded quickly, "Grandma, a little bit tired~"

"Good girl, then let’s go take a nap." Old Madam Ye smiled and carried little one into the room. Little one’s small bed was already prepared, and she gently placed her on it. Knowing that little one wanted to sleep next to her mother, she carefully pushed the small bed closer to the hospital bed to reduce the distance between them.

Qin Sui’an lay down under the covers, turned her little head, and looked at her sleeping mother, her round eyes curved like crescent moons.

"Mommy, good afternoon~ Grandma, good afternoon~" Old Madam Ye leaned down and kissed her forehead.

"Good afternoon, Ann, go to sleep." It was already past two in the afternoon, and with just having finished a painting, she soon fell into a deep sleep. Old Madam Ye sat on the chair beside the bed, reluctant to leave, watching her sleeping granddaughter and her daughter who was in a daze.

Outside the room, Ye Rongyuan messaged Ou Yangfu to inform him that the painting was completed and asked him to transfer the remaining payment of ten million. Ou Yangfu promptly transferred another ten million to him.

Only then did he realize, belatedly, and react: [Ou Yangfu: Is the painting done?! So fast?! Didn’t I just send you the video less than an hour ago?! What happened during this hour?!]

The numerous question and exclamation marks clearly indicated his astonishment at the moment.

As a young master like Ou Yangfu, indulging in pleasures was his forte, and he often visited various art exhibitions to appreciate ink culture. Recently, in order to find a gift for his father’s sixtieth birthday, he had racked his brains, flying everywhere to find something that would impress him.

Unexpectedly, after searching for so long, the gift that truly impressed him was found in a Wechat Moment Post. Ye Rongyuan’s post and the painting immediately captured his heart—it was the feeling he had been searching for.

As soon as he saw Ye Rongyuan’s message saying the painting was done, Ou Yangfu wished he could teleport directly in front of him.

[Ou Yangfu: Can I see it first?!]

After checking the balance in his bank account and confirming the full payment of eleven million, Ye Rongyuan snapped a picture of little one’s painting and sent it over.

A minute later, Ye Rongyuan received another barrage of messages from Ou Yangfu: [Ou Yangfu: Ahhhh! I knew it! I didn’t misjudge! Ann is truly my angel!]

Ye Rongyuan set his messages to not alert him and let him rant quietly in the chat.

Hmph, of course, their Ann is an angel! Do they even need Ou Yangfu to say that?
