"Daddy missed you a lot too." Qin Haochen held the little one close, gently rubbing her small head with the palm of his hand.
He kissed the top of the little one’s head, then turned to the people in the car and politely greeted, "Mom, Dad."
Old Mr. Ye nodded at him and then said, "It’s getting late, we’ll head back now."
Thanks to his third son Ye Rongyuan, who drove so slowly, by the time they arrived at Bay Villa, it was already past nine o’clock. There was no need to stay for a chat with the Qin family.
"Alright, be careful on the way back," Qin Haochen responded.
Old Mrs. Ye glanced at him and then at the little one, her smile growing warmer, "Ann, goodbye."
Qin Sui’an, the little one, waved her tiny hands to everyone in the car, her soft and adorable voice saying, "Goodbye, grandma~ Goodbye, grandpa~ Goodbye, second uncle, third uncle~"
Ye Liyuan lowered the front passenger window, "Goodbye, Ann."
Ye Rongyuan leaned over to the front passenger window, holding onto the car door frame with his long hand, and shouted to Ann, "Ann, don’t forget me!"
"Ann won’t forget!" Qin Sui’an nodded her little head firmly.
After reluctantly saying goodbye, the Maserati slowly started and drove away from Bay Villa.
Once the Maserati completely left Bay Villa, the six Qin brothers immediately surrounded the little one.
Qin Haochen didn’t get a chance to chat with the little one properly before his brothers started talking over each other.
Feeling a bit helpless, he noticed the excited and happy expression on the little one’s rosy face, so he squatted down slightly, letting the little one be carried into the castle by her brothers.
The big white goose couldn’t get through the crowd of long-legged tall guys and stomped its feet angrily.
"Quack quack!!!"
The goose also missed little Ann! Could someone make room for it to see little Ann!
Its quacking got drowned out by the voices of the six brothers, but the big white goose didn’t give up and followed them into the castle.
Old Mrs. Qin didn’t get a chance to hug her little granddaughter before she was taken away. She was both angry and helpless, "Those boys, I hope they don’t scare Ann!"
Old Mr. Qin was also angry, glaring at their backs, "No manners at all!"
Despite their anger, their longing for their little granddaughter was more important. They supported each other and followed into the castle.
Qin Haochen stood in place, the noise at the castle entrance gradually moving inside. He could still clearly hear everyone’s noisy chatter, mixed with a cute little voice.
He smiled and just as he was about to enter the castle, he heard footsteps behind him.
He Yan walked up respectfully and said, "President, we’ve looked into the matter regarding the artist Zhu Xiulin."
Qin Haochen paused, looking towards the living room.
After being quiet for several days, Bay Villa finally regained its warmth and liveliness with the arrival of the little one.
In the living room, the little one was sitting on the sofa, surrounded by her brothers. Her round, bright eyes looked at her six brothers with a gleam of joy, and she smiled happily with her small mouth closed.
Qin Haochen watched for a few seconds, then gestured to He Yan, "Let’s talk in the study."
"Yes, President."
The two of them went upstairs, one after the other, and entered the study.
As soon as the study door closed, it became much quieter due to the good soundproofing.
Qin Haochen felt a bit uncomfortable with his eyebrows slightly furrowed, so he asked He Yan to open the study door again. The faint sounds of activity from the downstairs living room could be heard.
His frown relaxed a bit, and Qin Haochen began to listen to He Yan’s report.
Upstairs in the study, the atmosphere wasn’t exactly light. However, downstairs in the living room, it was still filled with warmth and happiness. Everyone’s faces were adorned with smiles.
Even after moving to the living room, Old Mrs. Qin and Old Mr. Qin didn’t get a chance to get close to their precious little granddaughter. Surrounded by her grandsons, it was hard to even catch a glimpse of her.
Noticing that the clock on the wall showed it was already past ten-fifteen at night, Old Mr. Qin raised his voice, "Don’t you all have school or work tomorrow?"
It was almost like he was telling them to leave. If it weren’t for his little granddaughter being present, Old Mr. Qin would have personally chased them away.
Qin Qianyi was the first to respond, "Grandpa, I have the day off tomorrow! No school!"
Old Mr. Qin’s eyes widened as he glared at him, "Can’t you set a good example for Ann, always taking days off from school!"
"I don’t do it all the time, I barely took any days off this semester!" Although there was some exaggeration, Qin Qianyi spoke confidently without feeling guilty.
Old Mr. Qin thought having a cane was convenient now; at least in moments like these, he could easily swing it at his grandson.
Old Mrs. Qin looked at her husband, who was too angry to speak, and smiled, "Qianyi, don’t make things worse."
Then she turned to the other grandsons and said, "You’ve surrounded Ann for over half an hour; it’s our turn to talk to her. Otherwise, Ann will need to go to bed soon."
Luckily, Qin Sui’an had taken a nap in the car, so she was still energetic.
Once Old Mrs. Qin spoke, the others had no choice but to say goodbye to Ann and go to their respective rooms.
With six people gone, the living room suddenly seemed much more spacious.
Old Mr. Qin and Old Mrs. Qin each moved to sit next to their precious little granddaughter.
Old Mrs. Qin gently hugged her small body, her eyes full of love, "Ann, have you been eating and sleeping well recently?"
"Yes~" Qin Sui’an softly leaned into her grandma’s embrace, her round eyes curving into a smile, "Grandma and grandpa prepared lots of delicious food for Ann every day, and Ann ate until she was full~"
She obediently continued, "Grandma and grandpa also prepared a small bed for Ann, right next to mommy’s bed, so Ann can sleep with mommy~"
Old Mrs. Qin had heard these things from her son, Qin Haochen. Hearing it directly from her granddaughter made her heart twinge a little.
Old Mrs. Qin tried to sound casual as she asked, "Ann, has your mommy woken up?"
The little one shook her head sadly, "No, mommy is still sleeping, and the doctors have to give her injections every day."
Old Mrs. Qin gently rubbed her small head.
"Grandma, mommy is amazing!" She stretched out one small hand and gestured with her thumb and forefinger, "The needle is so big and long, but mommy doesn’t feel any pain or cry~"
The little one thought that if such a big and long needle were used on her, she would definitely cry.
"Yes, your mommy is amazing." Old Mrs. Qin bent down slightly, kissed her small head, and comforted her, "When your mommy has had enough sleep, she will wake up."
