After finishing their serious discussion, Qin Haochen was about to walk over to his desk when he noticed He Yan staring out the window, seemingly having spotted something.
"Is there anything else?" he asked.
"President..." He Yan hesitated, "I think I saw a reflection coming from Young Lord Lvzheng’s LZ Plaza."
In fact, he had noticed it earlier while reporting on work but hadn’t thought much of it since he knew it was in Young Lord Lvzheng’s direction. Now that the business report was done, it was the perfect time to bring it up.
Qin Haochen furrowed his brow and turned to look toward the direction of Qin Lvzheng’s building.
After waiting for several seconds, he indeed saw a fleeting reflection. The only things that could cause such a reflection would be a camera or a mirror.
The distance was too far, so Qin Haochen instructed He Yan, "Get the binoculars."
"Yes, President!" He Yan swiftly left the office and returned with the binoculars in under a minute.
Qin Haochen stood up, took the binoculars from He Yan, and walked to the floor-to-ceiling window. He adjusted the focus to carefully examine what the reflection from the building was.
Through the lenses, LZ Plaza gradually came into clear view, revealing its many office floors and semi-transparent glass windows.
When his gaze landed on a specific floor-to-ceiling window on the top floor, Qin Haochen suddenly halted.
At first, he felt disbelief, but after confirming, he reached out with one hand to He Yan. "Bring me my phone."
"Yes, President!" He Yan could clearly sense the sudden excitement in Qin Haochen’s tone and quickly handed him the phone from the desk.
Qin Haochen took a hurried glance at the phone, his fingers quickly dialing a number and holding it to his ear.
Meanwhile, Qin Lvzheng was focused on handling some details of the case when his phone unexpectedly rang.
He glanced at the caller ID, pausing his movements.
A hint of confusion crossed his face as he picked up the phone and pressed the answer button. "Dad?"
"Is Ann in your office?" Qin Haochen went straight to the point.
"Yes, she’s still here with me." Qin Lvzheng thought his father’s tone sounded unusually... lively?
He looked over at Ann, who was still at the window with the binoculars, and his voice softened a bit. "Dad, Ann is looking at your office with the binoculars. She noticed she could see it from here."
"Really?" Qin Haochen chuckled lightly. "Put Ann on the phone."
Qin Lvzheng glanced outside the window and immediately understood that his dad must have seen Ann too.
Since he wasn’t too busy at the moment, Qin Lvzheng stood up and walked over to Ann, handing her the phone. "Ann, it’s dad. He wants to talk to you."
"Daddy wants to talk to me?" Qin Sui’an quickly set down the binoculars and took the phone from her third brother, her sweet little voice calling out, "Daddy~ Ann sees you!"
"Daddy sees Ann too." Hearing little one’s voice, Qin Haochen couldn’t help but smile, "Is Ann looking at Daddy through the binoculars?"
"Yes! With the binoculars, Ann can see Daddy~" Qin Sui’an eagerly replied, "Ann also saw Daddy with the binoculars! Is Daddy done working?"
"Can take a break for a bit." Qin Haochen held the phone in one hand and the binoculars in the other.
