Qin Sui’an held the phone in both hands, focused intently on choosing her lunch.
The phone screen displayed nearly a hundred dishes from the restaurant for them to select from.
Carefully picking, she couldn’t read the words but looked at the pictures, tapping on anything that looked delicious.
Qin Lvzheng held her with one arm while using the other to browse through printed materials on the table.
After flipping through several pages, he paused, puzzled about why Ann was taking so long. Looking down, he saw that her cart already had over ten items.
His heart skipped a beat as he scanned the menu; they had just gone through the meat dishes and were now on the vegetarian section, with soups, desserts, drinks, and fruits still to follow.
At this rate... everyone at the law firm could join them for lunch.
Noticing Ann had suddenly stopped, he looked up to see her big, watery eyes, seemingly guilty.
Qin Sui’an tilted her little face up, looking at her third brother, her voice softening, "Did Ann order too much?"
Knowing she could see through him, Qin Lvzheng gently said, "Just keep picking for now; I’ll check later and remove some items. Otherwise, we might not finish everything."
Qin Sui’an nodded slightly, becoming more cautious in her selections, avoiding choosing anything just because it looked good.
Qin Lvzheng continued to review his materials, splitting his attention to keep an eye on what Ann picked.
Once the lunch menu was finalized, he took the phone from her and checked the total.
It was nearly thirty items.
Not a big deal.
Though he thought about cutting some items to avoid waste, he hesitated, remembering these were all things Ann wanted to try.
Finally, he settled on a compromise, instructing his assistant to contact the restaurant to prepare the dishes in one-third portions at full price.
This kind of arrangement was a win-win for the restaurant, especially since it was a long-time customer, Qin San Shao.
At 11:40 AM, Qin Haochen left Qin Corporation, heading for his third son Qin Lvzheng’s law firm for the first time. 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮
Before leaving, he sent a message to Qin Lvzheng.
Qin Sui’an, no longer peering through the binoculars at her father’s office, focused her attention on the main entrance of the building.
As soon as she spotted their familiar car, she became excited and watched intently.
She didn’t relax until Uncle He got out, opened the rear door, and she finally saw her daddy step out of the back seat.
Joyfully, she turned to her third brother, exclaiming, "Third brother, Daddy’s here!"
Seeing her excitement, Qin Lvzheng closed the file in his hands and walked over to her. "Let’s wait for Dad by the elevator."
"Okay~" Qin Sui’an agreed, reaching out for him to pick her up.
Qin Lvzheng bent down and scooped her into his arms, then turned to head out of the office toward the elevator.
The elevator displayed descending floors, stopping on the first floor before continuing upward after a few seconds.
Qin Sui’an watched the numbers climb, silently mouthing along.
Soon, the elevator arrived at their floor, the doors sliding open automatically.
