Chapter 28 Xu Songning, I'll make you wait for me at home.

Chapter 28 Xu Songning, I told you to wait for me at home.

"Snowflake! Stop!" the girl shouted.

Just as Xu Songning was about to be knocked to the ground by the snowflakes, the expected feeling of weightlessness did not come. Someone steadily supported her waist, whistled, and immediately released the hand on Xu Songning's waist.

Snowflakes swayed back to their owner's side, shaking their heads, still unaware that they had done something wrong.

"Sister! Are you alright?!" The girl anxiously grabbed Snowflake and patted it on the head three times. "Snowflake! Don't jump on people!"

Xu Songning held Sanhua in her arms, while the man behind her held her waist, helping her to stay steady. Just as Xu Songning was about to thank him, she turned around and met a pair of calm, light-colored eyes.

"Xu Songning, I told you to wait for me at home, why did you come down?" Xiang Yun asked.

"I'm going for a walk to digest my food." Xu Songning breathed a sigh of relief, and quickly withdrew her hand from her waist. She hadn't even had time to feel the warmth of the man's body.

Xiang Yun noticed the cat she was holding and paused, "You, when did you get a cat?"

"It wasn't raised by my sister, she found it. Do you know it?" the girl answered quickly. When she saw Xiang Yun, her cheeks suddenly turned red, and she became even more embarrassed.

"Hmm, next time you need to keep the Border Collie on a leash. If it knocks someone over, the consequences will be serious." Xiang Yun squatted down and patted the Border Collie's head. The man's tall figure was too imposing, and Xuehua scurried back behind its owner.

"Do you like dogs too? Let's add each other on WeChat. We can arrange to walk our dogs together sometime. Lots of people in our group walk their dogs, and we all get together to pet them whenever there's an event." The girl said, reaching for her phone.

Xiang Yun shook his head. "I don't like dogs."

"Ah..." The girl froze. She wanted to say something, but Xiang Yun didn't look at her. He stood up and opened his arms to Xu Songning, his movements as natural as those of an ordinary couple.

"Give it to me," Xiang Yun said.

Without hesitation, Xu Songning handed Sanhua from his arms. Sanhua seemed to be friendly and didn't resist at all when he held her. She just looked up at Xiang Yun and then lay obediently in his arms.

"Move your body a little and see if you've strained your back," Xiang Yun said, drawing a circle with his finger to indicate that she should turn around.

The girl snapped out of her daze. "Oh, right, sister, check if you're hurt. If the snowflakes have injured you, I'll take responsibility!"

Xu Songning wanted to say that nothing was wrong, but Xiang Yun's gaze was really fixed on her, as if she would personally check if she was injured if she didn't turn around.

So, she simply moved her waist and limbs as if she were doing calisthenics at school, and said, "See, there's no problem."

There seemed to be a hint of amusement in Xiang Yun's eyes, but he didn't laugh out loud. He simply coughed lightly and said, "Let's go."

The girl, left standing to the side, tugged at Xuehua's sleeve. Seeing that they were about to leave and that she hadn't gotten their WeChat, she felt it was a pity. After hesitating for a while, she still pulled Xuehua away.

"That girl wants your WeChat, why don't you give it to her?" Xu Songning blinked and tilted her head to look at him.

Xiang Yun stroked the soft fur of the three-flowered flower, looked up at her, his thoughts unreadable, and said, "I don't want to give it to her."

“Oh, I gave it to her. I changed the address of the pet hospital. The calico cat injured its leg. Before we find its owner, we'll treat its injury first.” Xu Songning pointed to the cat in his arms.

Xiang Yun weighed Sanhua in his hand. Sanhua yawned lazily and nestled comfortably in his arms. "Are you driving or should I drive?"

Xu Songning was a little surprised that Xiang Yun wanted to go to the vet with her, but having someone help her would make things much easier for her. After all, she couldn't drive and hold a cat at the same time, and if the cat got stressed in the car, she wouldn't be able to control it.

"I'll drive. Captain Xiang just got off the plane, so let's rest for a bit."

"Are you alright?" Xiang Yun asked. He already knew what was going on when he saw Xu Songning's condition. People who can be air traffic controllers must have good mental fortitude. She had already adjusted after a good night's sleep.

"Now, if I were to command the aircraft, I would be perfectly capable," Xu Songning said with a smile.

Xu Songning's car was parked in a conspicuous spot; it was an Audi in ice-brown purple.

Right now, next to the Audi is the Porsche I rode in last night. The two cars, both beautiful and high-quality, are parked together, making for a particularly pleasing sight.

Xu Songning wasn't in the mood to admire Xiang Yun's car last night, but since it was parked so close today, she simply walked around it and took a look. The classic flying line design made the car body smooth and pleasing to the eye.

The black jade color is very high-end, and the smooth color is like a cat's eye gemstone. It is different from ordinary black cars on the road and is eye-catching at first glance. Not to mention the interior choices. Xiang Yun is a person with taste in life, and Xu Songning felt this deeply.

Pilots own all sorts of cars. Their high salaries allow them to pursue better things. It's no joke that an annual salary equals a car. They also discuss in private which pilots have bought what new car.

The black Porsche inexplicably suited Xiang Yun's composed temperament. When his long, slender fingers rested on the steering wheel, there was a sense of beauty in his complete control.

This sense of control probably comes from his profession; holding the control stick in the air and the steering wheel on the ground is incredibly easy for him.

Seeing Xu Songning carefully examining her car, Xiang Yun asked her, "Why did you decide to buy an Audi? For commuting, I usually choose a more ordinary car to avoid scratches."

"If I'm going to buy something, I'll buy what I like. I won't settle for less." Xu Songning wagged his finger, his gaze still fixed on his car, looking somewhat eager.

"Want to try driving my car?" Xiang Yun raised his chin, gesturing towards his car.

Xu Songning was tempted, and touched the hood of the Porsche, "If it gets scratched..."

"If you get scratched, I'll laugh at you." Xiang Yun handed her the keys, opened the car door, and sat in the passenger seat first.

Xu Songning fastened her seatbelt, adjusted the driving distance, and tilted her head to look at Xiang Yun, who was holding Sanhua, "What song did you listen to last time?"

"You like it?" Xiang Yun leaned forward and opened the playlist. As his finger pressed down, a soothing female voice rang out; it was a familiar song.

Xu Songning gripped the steering wheel, closed his eyes, and listened for a while. "Hmm, it sounds better in your car."

"Perhaps the surround sound is better. How about I take the speakers out and give them to you?" Xiang Yun leaned back in his seat.

"Then I'll take it later?" Xu Songning said with a smile.

"Okay, don't forget to leave me the speaker you don't want." Xiang Yun squinted, looking like he was about to take a nap.

Xu Songning never expected that the seemingly cold and handsome man would have such an interesting side to him. Seeing him close his eyes, she quietly drove the car away.

The pet hospital wasn't far. Xu Songning circled around the entrance a few times. Xiang Yun was probably really tired. Even after the car stopped, she didn't open her eyes. She was holding the cat in her arms, and the calico cat was almost asleep. The two of them had their heads tilted to the same side.

Xiang Yun was sleeping peacefully and quietly. The dim light fell on his distinct features, giving them a sharp edge in the darkness.

Not wanting to disturb his sleep, Xu Songning went around to the passenger seat, waved to Sanhua, and whispered, "Sweetie, come with your sister to see the doctor. Don't wake your brother."

Sanhua seemed to understand her words, stepping on Xiang Yun's arm and moving slowly.

Xu Songning clasped her hands together and placed them near Xiang Yun's arm, waiting for Sanhua to come over.

When the weight on Xiang Yun's body lightened, he woke up with a start, thinking he hadn't been holding the cat properly. He reached out and grabbed a warm person instead.
