Chapter 14: The Transformed Time Traveler

Chapter 14: The Transformed Time Traveler

Because of the magic clock.

As a thief, Kenneth has been stealing for many years without being caught. The reason is not because his stealing skills are so superb, but because he has a father and sister who are always there to clean up his mess.

Kenneth's father was an earl, and most of the time he could just pay off his thefts.

Kenneth's sister is more familiar to Darien. She is Lady Mary. Once she makes a move, not only will she not have to pay back the money, but she will also have more admirers who will spend money like crazy.

But the situation this time is completely different. Kenneth sneaked into the Ministry of Magic. The Earl and Lady Mary said they were powerless. It was time to let this spoiled boy grow up.

Kenneth was chased up and down, and was almost burned on the buttocks by the magic flames several times. He realized that he should find a place to hide.

As for returning the clock and going to jail, don't even think about it. How can a man who wants to become the King of Thieves have the stain of going to jail?

After hearing the story, Darien expressed his support for the matter and wanted to charge him 45 gold coins for food and lodging, considering that his sister was Lady Mary.

A friend in need is a friend indeed? That doesn't exist. Only unscrupulous businessmen are making a killing.

Kenneth had no choice but to hand over the gold coins that had not yet warmed up. He could live here temporarily.

"If you live here, you must abide by our rules. You are not allowed to steal anything. You are not allowed to touch anything in any room here. Do you understand?" said Darien.

"Does it count if I steal something and put it back?" Kenneth asked.

"That's right. There are many magical items here. If you accidentally touch one of them, you might turn into a salamander, or be torn into pieces..." Darien threatened him seriously.

"Please don't leave dangerous items lying around!" Kenneth yelled. "What if a child touches them?"

"There are no other children here except you. Okay, now please leave my study. Seville, find a room to put him in." Darien smiled politely.

Sewell took Kenneth away, and his pig was waiting for him in the room.

The study door was closed, and Darien picked up a pair of pliers and cut out the time stone embedded in the center of the component.

The precious Time Stone fell on the table, but Darien didn't treat it with care, but opened the drawer and found a box.

With a click, the clasp of the box was opened.

The rippling water waves spread from inside the box to the outside, and the gaps in the box were almost filled with time stones of different sizes. Darien threw the one that fell on the table in and closed the lid again with a click.

Put the box back in the drawer.

Kenneth's arrival did not bring much change to the tower. He was successfully frightened by Darien. The future King of Thieves could turn into a salamander but could not break into many petals. He stayed quiet for a short time.

But he and his Jenny Pig ate so much that the kitchen was often in a state of famine.

Just as Darien's patience was about to reach its limit, a new customer came to the shop, distracting Mr. Mage a little.

The guest was a young lady, as clear as the morning dew on a lily. She was a little startled when she stepped in but quickly calmed down.

"Is this the legendary magic shop?" the lady asked cautiously.

Her voice was sweet, like the singing of a nightingale among the roses.

"Yes, please sit down. You can call me Darien, and this is my assistant Sevier. Sevier, please give this lady a cup of hot tea." Darien said in a soft voice.

“My name is Elvira Holden.” Elvira’s calf was touched by the chair that was moved over, and she sat back.

"What wish do you have? I can help you realize it." said Darien.

"Thank you." Elvira took the hot tea handed to her by Sewell. "I, I want to know about my mother. I really want to know what she was like. She died when I was very young."

"Okay." Darien nodded. "I want your voice. Your voice is beautiful. It can pay for your wish."

"I do." Elvira said without hesitation, "Please take it now, and then take me to see my mother."

"No rush. Let's fulfill your wish first and then charge the fee. Please sign your name here, Miss Elvira." Darien handed over a brand new contract.

Elvira signed her name without hesitation, and a bright smile appeared on her face when she put down the quill.

Sewell carefully rolled up the contract and attached a number tag to the ribbon for easy reference later, while Darien rang the bell to summon all the creatures in the tower.

A moment after the bell rang, the Fitches, Pluto, Kenneth and his Jenny Pig all arrived.

Elvira held the teacup and looked at the group of people in front of her with some curiosity. She felt as if she had walked into a circus.

"Ms. Elvira, we're going on a time travel trip," Darien said with a smile. "Sevier, dismantle Leon, get the Transfiguration Potion from the alchemy room, pack your luggage, and put a sign saying 'Closed' on our door."

Mr. Mage said a lot in one breath, but Mr. Crow just nodded and said okay, and it was not known whether he remembered it or not.

Elvira said: “I don’t have any luggage with me, do I need to go back first?”

Darien said, "Go ahead, Miss Elvira. Just bring a few changes of clothes with you. We'll order some new clothes when we get there."

Elvira said, “Then how am I supposed to get back here?”

Darien said, "If you want to come back here, you can open any door and get here. The door will not refuse you."

Elvira went back to pack her luggage, and the people in the tower also became busy.

Mrs. Fitch seemed particularly excited: "Oh my God, it's a trip! Thanks to this lady's wish, we can go to new places!"

Kenneth scratched his head. "Huh? Including me?"

Darien glanced at him and said, "You don't have to go."

Kenneth nodded frantically: "You guys go ahead! Don't worry, leave me here to watch the door! I will definitely not steal anything..."

No way! Hahahaha, they finally left. I stole and returned, then stole again!

Darien said, "You've been here long enough. It's time to go home. Please."

Kenneth immediately calmed down: "I think traveling is pretty good, haha."

Seville returned with a cowhide travel bag and several large boxes.

"Where's the potion?" Darien raised his brow.

"Here." Seville flipped his hand and several tubes of potion slipped out from his sleeve.

The wizard's raised eyebrows returned to their original position: "Give them some drink."

Except for the humanoid creatures, every non-human here was given a tube of potion, including Jenny Pig.

After drinking the potion, colorful lights flashed in the shop, and in the dazzling light, the non-humans completed their body transformations one after another.

"I need a mirror!" Mrs. Fitch stretched out her fat hands and touched her face. She hadn't turned into a human form for a long time and had forgotten what she would look like.

Darien waved his finger, and a mercury mirror appeared out of thin air in the magic shop.

The mercury mirror reflected everyone's figures.

Mrs. Fitch was like a soft, fluffy marshmallow, with round eyes and a round face. She was twice as big as Mr. Fitch when she stood next to him. But Mr. Fitch was unexpectedly thin. When he was in mouse form, you couldn't tell he was a mouse.

Leon looked a little more handsome than when he was hanging on the wall. He looked like a melancholic bard, but because of his two curved mustaches, he looked more like a bankrupt baron.

"How did you become like this! My dear Jenny! So small and short! You should be stronger!" Kenneth yelled at Jenny Pig.

Jenny Pig, who had transformed from a tiny pink pig into a plump little girl, punched Kenneth in the nose and said, "You made me drink the shrinking potion."

Kenneth covered his nose and jumped up with a roar, but Jenny Pig was no less strong.

"Sevier, take it off! Brutal! Don't lick my pants!" Darien's exasperated voice rang out in the shop.

The only one who didn't turn into a human was the magic book Pluto. It turned into a brown puppy and was now trying to climb up Mr. Wizard's thigh with the clear goal of licking his face.

Darien didn't dare to reach out and touch it, because as soon as he did, the enthusiastic puppy would lick him hard.

Sewell grabbed Pluto's two front legs and lifted him up, then had his face licked.

Mr. Mage laughed with glee.

Mr. Crow narrowed his eyes, turned Pluto around and approached him immediately.

Darien stepped back, and was finally cornered by Sewell in front of the display case. The enthusiastic puppy licked his face happily.

"Did I come at the wrong time?" Elvira's voice sounded behind them.

"No, you came at the right time. It was just bitten by a dog." Darien slapped Sevier away with a sour face.

Elvira thought to herself, oh, I understand, I understand. Although you are together, it is still a semi-public relationship now. You kiss secretly in the corner, and then when I accidentally catch you, you get angry and call each other dogs... oh, I understand all the little tricks of young lovers!

Sewell turned around and there was actually a dog in his hands.

It turned out that it was bitten by a real dog.

I don't know why Elvira was a little disappointed.

"Let's go, we're about to set off. Miss Elvira, please walk in front and push the door open, we will follow you behind." Darien said.

"Okay!" Elvira pushed open the gorse door again with excitement and nervousness.

Brilliant sunshine streamed into the shop, and behind the door that Elvira opened was a garden.

There was nothing special about the garden, just a little desolate. Ivy covered the high walls, and the shrubs and lawns were overgrown. No one had lived here for a long time.

"Where is this place?" Elvira couldn't help but ask.

"It's a property I bought many years ago, but unfortunately I rarely have the opportunity to live in it. Now it's time to wake it up," Darien replied.

Mr. Wizard didn't use a wand, he just clapped his hands lightly, and everything around him came alive.
