For the first time, Su Chuanlin felt like a "submissive" man, actually taking advantage of someone else.
But to his surprise, the person in his arms stirred as he was about to part ways, and their lips responded to his kiss.
Startled, Su Chuanlin opened his eyes and met Xiang Niannian's gaze. He immediately felt a little guilty.
He wanted to lift his head immediately, but Xiang Niannian suddenly kissed his lips, preventing him from leaving.
Su Chuanlin didn't know if Xiang Niannian knew what he was doing. He only saw his reflection in her eyes. He wanted to let go, but the restless energy within him wouldn't allow him to.
So he tentatively moved, and the next second, Xiang Niannian moved as well.
The tension in Su Chuanlin's mind snapped instantly, and he embraced the person and kissed them deeply.
But this was his first kiss, and he had no experience. He soon felt the other person struggle, and he released her as if he had just woken up from a dream. He saw Xiang Niannian looking at him with teary eyes and a wronged expression. Her lips had turned from pale to rosy.
Su Chuanlin cursed under his breath, feeling that if he continued kissing her, he would be worse than an animal.
"Sleep well, I'm watching you."
Su Chuanlin half-huddled the person and patted their back.
"It's the little rabbit who went back on its word, not the little dog!"
"!!!" Su Chuanlin.
Holy crap! So she was answering the question from before?
Little rabbit? She accepted what he called her?
Su Chuanlin was about to ask her again, but she was uncooperative and had already fallen asleep.
Su Chuanlin sighed helplessly, laid her flat on the bed, covered her with a blanket, and then sat up against the headboard to watch over her.
