I resigned.
"I really don't have to go to work this time," Qi En said.
She dragged me to go shopping and get a beauty treatment. I fell asleep at the beauty salon, and the lady didn't wake me up. She let me sleep until the afternoon, and when I woke up, she dragged me to continue shopping.
When I passed by the men's clothing section, I saw a really handsome suit. I think you would look even more handsome in it, but the sales assistant said it was not in stock and would be custom-made and would arrive next month. I left your size and contact information so she could contact me later.
Qi En stared at me blankly, then put down his coffee cup: "Honey, I have a suggestion."
"What's wrong?"
"There are a few nice dresses over there that look great with this suit. Would you like to buy them?"
I smiled and said, "Okay."
She was very happy and brought me a lot of clothes to try on, but unfortunately the sizes were all too big.
She tossed her hair and pulled me into the fitting room, started undressing me, stared at my chest, measured my waist with both hands, and finally took out a white dress for me to try on, which fit perfectly.
As she watched me pay, she casually remarked, "You look perfectly normal in your usual clothes, but how come you've lost all that extra weight?"
I picked up the bag, pulled her along, and the shop assistants nearby perked up their ears, eager to hear the gossip.
