Chapter 25 Blade of Judgment

"Project Sky Dome!"

Upon hearing these four words, Qin Wan'er's face turned deathly pale.

Her psychological defenses completely collapsed.

“Yes… I did it… I did everything…” Qin Wan’er slumped to the ground, muttering to herself.

"Why? Heh... You fools have no idea what you're fighting against!" Qin Wan'er suddenly raised her head.

"Bang!"

With a loud bang, Qin Wan'er's body exploded instantly, turning into a pile of bloody and mangled fragments.

The scene was chaotic, with survivors screaming in terror and fleeing in all directions.

Lu Zhaoming was also stunned by this sudden change.

"Damn, this woman is ruthless!" Lu Zhaoming cursed inwardly.

After the dust settled, the survivors looked at Lu Zhaoming with eyes full of awe and gratitude.

They surrounded Lu Zhaoming and cheered loudly.

"Doomsday Judge!"

Lu Zhaoming is respectfully called the "Doomsday Judge" by the survivors.

However, Lu Zhaoming did not bask in the joy of victory.

He knew that the real challenge had only just begun.

He turned his attention to the chip that had been removed from Qin Wan'er's body.

This chip contains a great many secrets.

This includes details of the "Sky Dome Project".

Lu Zhaoming vaguely sensed that a larger conspiracy was hidden behind the "Sky Dome Project".

This conspiracy could upend the entire wasteland world's order.

He must crack the chip as soon as possible to uncover the truth behind "Project Sky Dome".

Late at night, Lu Zhaoming sat alone in the safe house, poring over chip data. The flickering screen reflected in his deep eyes, where a burning flame resided—a yearning for the truth, and a nagging unease about the future…

In the dead of night, the safe house was so quiet you could hear a pin drop.

Lu Zhaoming stared intently at the screen; the distorted experimental data in the chip was giving him a headache.

This isn't data; it's practically a jumble of gibberish, even more baffling than quantum entanglement.

"Experiment No. 007: The target individual has awakened, and the estimated time for loss of control is 72 hours..." This line of text was like a thorn, causing him a burning pain in his heart.

Lu Zhaoming rubbed his temples, and Su Li's charming and beautiful face uncontrollably appeared before his eyes.

"Holy crap, this can't be this melodramatic, can it?" he muttered under his breath, his mind racing with doubt.

If Su Li really is some kind of experimental subject, then this 72-hour countdown is like a Damocles' sword hanging over their heads!

He suddenly stood up, walked to the window, and pulled back the heavy curtains.

Outside the window, there was the unique silence of the post-apocalyptic wasteland, with only the occasional roar of a mutated creature in the distance, sending chills down one's spine.

Lu Zhaoming took a deep breath and forced himself to calm down.

Now is not the time to worry unnecessarily; we must figure out the secrets of this chip as soon as possible in order to take the initiative.

"System, analyze this data for me!" he silently chanted in his mind.

However, the system remained unusually silent.

"System? Don't play dead with me! If you fail me at this crucial moment, I'll uninstall you!" Lu Zhaoming was furious and cursed at the air.

Just then, the system's cold voice finally rang out: "The data is too complex and exceeds the current level of access control; it cannot be fully parsed."

"I..." Lu Zhaoming almost spat out a mouthful of blood.

At the crucial moment, the system failed!

This feeling is like when you're constipated and the toilet suddenly gets clogged—it's incredibly frustrating.

He slammed his fist against the wall, turned back to the table, and picked up the chip again.

"I refuse to believe I can't handle you!" Lu Zhaoming said through gritted teeth.

He inserted the chip into the computer and flipped through the obscure and difficult-to-understand data line by line.

Time passed second by second, his eyes grew redder and his head grew heavier and heavier.

Suddenly, a hidden folder caught his attention.

"Found it!" Lu Zhaoming excitedly rubbed his hands together and opened the folder.

However, the folder was completely empty; there was nothing inside.

"What the hell is going on?" Lu Zhaoming was completely dumbfounded.

Could the secrets hidden in this chip be more complex than he imagined?

Just as he was at his wit's end, a clear voice suddenly rang out in the safe house: "What are you looking for?"
