Chapter 118 Wild Boars Enter the Village

For some reason, these wild boars showed no sign of stopping, charging around recklessly, making everyone very nervous.

"We can't let these beasts ruin our grain!" A-Qiang from the village shouted, gripping the thick wooden stick in his hand tightly. The veins on his arm bulged.

A-Qiang was an impatient person and the first to react. His shout was like a rallying cry, organizing everyone together.

"Yes, let's go for it!" Everyone responded in unison, and not a single person backed down.

A fierce standoff began on the clearing by the field. Five wild boars stood in a row, their long tusks gleaming coldly in the sunlight, emitting muffled roars as if taunting the crowd.

The young men formed a semicircle, raising their tools high and staring intently at the wild boar.

Ah Qiang took a deep breath, mustered his strength, and charged forward first, swinging his wooden stick with a whooshing sound as he smashed it towards the wild boar on the far left.

But the wild boar was very agile and dodged away in a flash. Ah Qiang's wooden stick slammed heavily on the ground, kicking up a cloud of dust.

"Watch out!" shouted Ah Yong, who was standing nearby, and swung his hoe at the wild boar from the side.

But the wild boar was not to be outdone. With a turn, it used its tusks to knock the hoe away. A-Yong was so shocked that he staggered back several steps, feeling a numbness in his palm. He secretly lamented, "This wild boar is too fierce!"

At this moment, a young man in the crowd, his forehead covered in sweat from nervousness, gripped his sickle tightly, his lips trembling slightly, his heart pounding with panic: "What am I going to do? These wild boars are much harder to deal with than I imagined."

When the two sides were deadlocked, a wild boar spotted an opening in the crowd and suddenly charged in like a madman.

"Scatter!" someone shouted in terror, and the crowd instantly descended into chaos.

Fortunately, in the midst of the chaos, Ah Qiang seized the opportunity and struck the wild boar hard on the back with a stick.

The wild boar howled in pain, blood seeping from its back, but this only enraged it further. It shook its head wildly and charged at A-Qiang again.

A-Qiang couldn't dodge in time and was hit by the wild boar, falling to the ground and getting injured.
