My mom was having dinner.
When Han Ming came downstairs to the dining table, he was surprised to find that there were only three dishes on the table: scrambled eggs with tomatoes, stir-fried water bamboo shoots with shredded pork, and winter melon and kelp soup.
Han Ming, who had gotten used to a large table of food these past two days, was stunned.
"My God, the difference is too big! Do you really think I picked it up off the street?"
Han Ming sighed.
He had barely finished muttering those words when his mother's voice came from behind him:
"You brat, you eat delicacies every day, do you think we run a bank?"
My mother came over carrying two bowls of rice and two pairs of chopsticks.
Han Ming took a bowl and chopsticks, and said with a bitter face:
"The difference is too big. Xiaolu left and this is what you're feeding me? There were still quite a few dishes left over from lunch, why didn't you heat them up?"
Hearing her son say this, Chen Fang had no choice but to sigh and say:
"Don't even mention it. The refrigerator at home was working perfectly fine when I used it at noon, but when I opened the door to cook dinner, I found that there was no cool air inside at all."
The power plug is in, so it's probably broken. Oh well, what a waste of all that food; it's all gone bad. I'll have to cook some fresh food for dinner.
Seeing my mom sighing, it seemed she was really upset about the food, so I didn't say anything and just buried my head in my food.
I was thinking that tomorrow I'd take the refrigerator to the workshop and have the printer diagnose and repair it, and also see if the printer is still as powerful as before when powered by natural electricity.
After quickly finishing his rice, Han Ming went to the inner room to chat with his father.
My dad is getting better every day. After resting at home, his complexion has improved significantly.
Han Ming scanned him again with his glasses and found that the assessment result was that the body would continue to survive for 23 years, compared to 19 years last time.
In just two or three days, Dad's lifespan increased by four years, so it seems his recovery is really good.
Han Baili also noticed his son's glasses and asked him why he was suddenly wearing them.
Han Ming tried to fool his father with nonsense like "facing the computer all day causes a lot of radiation, so it's good for your eyes."
Fortunately, Han Baili didn't ask too many questions. Instead, he showed concern for his son, telling him that he had been working very hard lately and should take care of himself.
He was also asked about his workplace. Han Ming dared not tell his father that he had been fired for being absent from work for so long, because his father would get very upset and cause a huge scene.
They could only continue lying, claiming they had explained the situation to the company.
Anyway, the work in the company is mostly program design and maintenance, which can be done anywhere as long as there is a computer.
Since there were some issues at home, and Han Ming had assured his superiors that he wouldn't slow down the work progress, the company leaders allowed him to work on the design at home during this period.
Han Ming told the lie without batting an eye, secretly thinking that ever since he obtained the divine artifact, his skin seemed to have gradually thickened.
When Han Baili heard his son say this, he kept praising his leader, saying that he was a good cadre from a big city and had a broad mind.
Han Ming almost laughed when he heard this. If that bald Qin had such a broad mind, wouldn't he be a big-breasted transvestite?
The more I thought about it, the funnier it became. Afraid that I wouldn't be able to hold back my laughter, I quickly composed myself and said that I was going back to my room to work and that my dad should get some rest.
Once inside the room, I opened QQ on my computer and noticed that Dong Xiaolu's QQ avatar was gray, so it seemed she was still having dinner.
Han Ming, who had just finished a long phone call, missed his girlfriend very much. Perhaps this is how all couples in the throes of new love feel.
Han Ming could have used the X-ray glasses to log into QQ, but he still needed to communicate with the printer's R&D module about the game program design.
Afraid of being too focused and neglecting Dong Xiaolu's messages, I kept QQ open on my computer with the message notification sound turned on, so I could fully concentrate on the game design.
Han Ming didn't know if the R&D module could fully understand his design intentions for the game.
Han Ming selected several representative games and gave them to the design center for analysis and integration.
The design center still processes program code very quickly; several games were analyzed in no time.
There are no problems with the program code. The design center can select the best game engine for all games and rewrite the data uniformly.
Now all Han Ming needs to do is choose which game visual style to use.
Han Ming looked at several game engines that had been scanned by the design center and decided to combine the advantages of several engines to create his own engine first.
The X-ray printer truly lives up to its reputation as a marvel from a mysterious space; this design center is simply incredibly intelligent.
Basically, whatever Han Ming imagines in his mind, it designs it.
By eliminating some useless and redundant code, I developed my own style.
As for how to create a unified setting across various games, Han Ming found a setting that allowed him to input his ideas on virtual characters, seamless maps, and realistic driving.
Han Ming wanted to create a virtual world, so he didn't include a real-world map in the design.
He used maps from various games and improved upon them, adding landscapes such as mountains and rivers to the maps.
Players entering the game will find themselves in a beautiful new place where everything is worth exploring, creating a strong sense of novelty.
The map's layout is similar to the real world, with water, electricity, and natural gas all available and automatically supplied by the game, so there's no need to worry about an energy crisis.
With the addition of many professions, Han Ming, in order to ensure fairness within the game, also researched and incorporated some laws and regulations from modern society to form a set of rules and regulations within the game.
