Xie Ting stared at Xie Yan expressionlessly. He had expected Xie Yan to be furious after his dark thoughts were exposed, but at this moment, he was unexpectedly relieved.
Since returning home, he had been carefully acting, constantly on edge, which was exhausting. Now that he had been exposed, it felt like a heavy burden had been lifted, and he even felt that it might not be such a bad thing.

"If you insist on thinking I'm forcing a smile, then so be it. After all, thinking that way might make you feel a lot better, wouldn't it?"
After saying that, he stepped forward and deliberately patted Xie Ting's shoulder heavily, speaking earnestly like an elder to a junior: "Alright, I won't chat with you anymore. I'm very busy and don't have time to chat with a stranger."

He immediately realized that this guy had just been fooling him.
