The old castle is relatively short, so you can just go up directly, but the new castle is a bit high, so you need to walk a long way.

If you take the road, it will take about an hour, so you should arrange your itinerary according to the guided tour time on the ticket and go to the New Castle in advance, because if you miss the time, you may not be able to enter? Yunluo has not tried it, if you don’t believe it, you can try it haha.

There are two types of guided tours: manual guided tours and automatic guided tours. Manual guided tours are available in English and German, while automatic guided tours are available in Chinese. However, I feel that manual guided tours are more interesting. If you can understand English, you can choose according to your needs.

In fact, the real place to take photos of Neuschwanstein Castle is the Marienbrücke across the street. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the bridge, so you can visit the castle first and then go there to take photos. From Marienbrücke, you can climb up the mountain, where there are fewer people. The bridge is basically full of people, and most people just rush to take a few photos.

The hotel where Yunluo and Yan Chenyu stayed was a hotel converted from an old lady's home. The old lady hired another old lady. The two of them run it. They don't go online often, so even if you have submitted a request online saying that Yunluo wants to check in early, and he has replied that you can, when you go there, he still tells you in broken English.

There is a bus outside the Salzburg train station that goes directly to Berchtesgaden, 840. If you are not sure, you can consult the local DB ticket office. Don't buy a train ticket. You have to transfer 2 buses to get there, which is very troublesome and there is no English sign, which is very inconvenient. You can buy bus tickets directly from the bus driver.

No need to buy in advance. But please note that the earliest bus from Monday to Thursday is at 6:30 and the second bus is at 8:30, but there is no bus at 6:30 on Friday. The earliest bus on Saturday and Sunday is at 9:30. You can check the bus stop information in advance. There is no English on the bus stop, so you have to remember these German words.

The bus is at 8:30 on Friday and 9:30 on Saturday and Sunday, but because I don't understand German, I thought the bus is at 8:30 from Monday to Sunday, so I got up early the next morning, but the bus didn't come after waiting for a long time. Later I realized that this means Monday to Sunday.

These German words appear quite frequently in Germany, so it is better to remember them:-). However, they are usually abbreviations, with the first three letters representing them.

King Lake is divided into two attractions: Jena Peak and King Lake. It is not recommended to visit these two attractions in one day, as it will be very crowded. I will introduce the time arrangements for each of them later. If you choose to stay in Berchtesgaden.
