Chapter Thirty-One: Warming Up



"Hmm?" The boy suddenly turned around, the sound of the wind making his voice sound somewhat unreal, as if he had never answered before, but his eyes held a hint of confusion as he looked at her.

Song Lisha stepped forward, stood next to the person, took a deep breath, and felt a little timid again.

Proud as she was, she had never confessed her feelings to someone face-to-face before, especially to such a handsome boy.

An impatience flickered in the person's eyes. "Just say what you have to say."

"I, you." Suddenly, I didn't know how to start.

The person in front of him frowned slightly as he couldn't hear a single complete sentence.

"Did you see the love letter I put in your workbook? The one tucked inside your geography workbook..." She trailed off.

"Did you put that there?" The person in front of her suddenly shouted, startling Song Lisha.

Before she could speak, the man became even more agitated, "Didn't you tell Su Xun to put it in?" His eyes held a hint of expectation.

"What does this have to do with Su Xun?" Song Lisha was a little puzzled. She looked up and saw Pei Ke's excited expression, which seemed to be a mixture of surprise and joy, as well as an emotion that she couldn't understand.

After saying that, the boy left, went into the room, and closed the door.

"Hey, why did you leave? You haven't given me an answer yet." Song Lisha chased after him, getting a little anxious. Hearing the door close, she stomped her foot, looking aggrieved, as if she was about to cry.

Pei Ke entered the room, grabbed his phone from the table, looked at the contacts, and hesitated.

What's wrong with me? Why am I happy?
