"Here, here!" Fabia pulled the princess into a sitting position while shaking her violently. Beside her was a warm cup of medicine she had quickly stirred up before the Princess went too Deep into her sleep. She needed the herbs to heal quickly, and since she won’t take them directly, Fabia had turned them into liquid form instead. Raziah murmured something incoherent, her long lashes fluttering slightly open and close.
"Get up and take this before you go back to sleep or else it’s gonna hurt the more when you get up later on." Fabia stated, tapping on her back continuously till she was as awake as one could get her to be, "You haven’t even changed. At least you need to get cleaned up,"
Picking up the cup, Raziah felt the edge placed against her lips before something bitter was forced down her throat. She didn’t even have the strength to do anything anymore, but she knew she might vomit it all out at some point. Some pooled down the side of her lips, dripping on her clothes.
"See?" Fabia drawled softly as she reached for the closest towel, "that wasn’t so hard, right?"
Suddenly, the princess stirred sharply and was down from the bed the very next second. Fabia was startled at the sudden act and before she could say anything, Raziah was already out of the room. She was still very fast for a woman who was filled with cuts.
Raziah needed to use the bathroom, and she didn’t like changing bathrooms so she was headed for her chambers. Her head was down the whole time as she struggled to keep her eyes open, and her legs working. She was staggering as she went on, and soon enough everything was becoming blurry again.
She didn’t like what Fabia had given her to take. It was causing a ruckus in her belly and she badly needed to relieve herself or else everything was gonna come pouring itself out of her mouth. Maybe she had taken a wrong turn at some point because she managed to make out an image of a wall standing in her path, and a small figure perched to that wall.
Raziah blinked hard, feeling very uncomfortable in her own skin. She needed to use the bathroom fast...or else. She stretched out her hands weakly, hoping to feel the wall so she would at least have something to lean on. Her stomach rumbled once again, and in the next few seconds, everything was finding its way back out of her mouth, the thick red liquid of the medicine running down her neck and making even more of a mess.
There was suddenly a loud noise in her ears as if someone had just screamed, and it had her pressing hard against her ears. Raziah fell to her knees, and her already swaying vision began much hazier. It was a good thing that Fabia had woken her up the first time she had fallen asleep, it was a lucky call for her because the last thing she wants right now was to close her eyes.
It was probably going to happen again, and her body was just too weak to keep staying awake.

Jumping out of bed, Aletta took a quick glance at the room she had been laid in. There was a woman sitting on a chair by her right with her back facing against Aletta, scribbling some words on a piece of paper. Aletta’s hand flew to her body to check if she was still putting on the cloak, and luckily it seems it hadn’t been taken off.
The windows in the room were half closed, and from the looks of the brightness outside, it was already evening. Aletta’s eyes almost shot out of their sockets as she quickly made to scurry out of the room as silently as she could.
"I saw what you’re hiding under that cloak," The woman writing with the feather spoke, halting Aletta right before she could get to the door.
Aletta’s body ran cold just by those words, and her body shook as anxiety began to engulf her. She could already picture her world crashing down and her efforts turning into dust.
"I don’t understand what I saw because it’s new to me. Nonetheless, you don’t have to worry, I don’t plan on telling anyone." The woman continued without looking away from her work.
Aletta would have felt relieved by those words, but she couldn’t trust someone she had just met. Even Zoan doesn’t know about what she’s been hiding, and yet...
How did she even get here in the first place?
"Who are you?" Aletta asked, turning around to face the woman. She didn’t take a step toward her though, but her eyes were now scanning around for any sign of her luggage because she had just recalled she had one.
"Before you ask someone about their name, isn’t it polite and appropriate to Introduce yourself first?"
Aletta sighed, "Etta,"
The woman then dropped her feature, folded her work, and faced Aletta. She looked completely ordinary to Aletta, and a little older, "Fabiana, a doctor. You can leave if you want to." Fabia replied right away, and strode down to the bathroom door, softly knocking on it, "You’re taking longer than usual, everything alright?" She called out, before placing her ears over the bathroom door.
"Get back to your work!" Someone yelled inside.
"You know it wouldn’t kill you to be a little polite!"
"When you take me around town, I’ll think about it!"
"You ungrateful brat!" Fabia scowled, wishing he was out here so she could pull his ears or just do something mean to him.
"Is she awake yet? I heard you talking with someone, the woman with the weird..."
"Shut up!" Fabia yelled back angrily, right before flashing an apologetic smile at Aletta who returned the awkward gesture. She then sighted her things leaning close to the bed, walked over, and picked them up again, "Are you new here?" Fabia enquired, "Are you alone? Who did you come with? I can help you look for your chambers."
Aletta bit her lips, the look in her eyes falling a bit, "Don’t worry I’m taking my leave now,"
Fabia watched her leave, and couldn’t help but tell herself that Etta had the smoothest and supple skin ever, in fact, she couldn’t compare such glowing skin to anyone around- it was almost surreal. When Fabia had come across Etta and Raziah passed out on the floor, she had brought them back here to check up on them.
Etta just needed rest, but Raziah’s case had been different and she had been taken back to her chambers.
It had been very severe, and Fabia had this inkling on what was causing it.

Aletta knew she should have asked the doctor to guide her out of the vast castle because she once again found herself standing at a dead end. She was especially careful not to run Into anyone because they all looked scary to her. Now that she wasn’t with Zoan anymore, she had no one but herself to look after. She kept roaming around, hiding behind statues whenever she needed to.
Vampires were everywhere, but they couldn’t sense Any of her movements. Aletta didn’t know it was possible for her kind to slip through them so easily till now. No wonder the underground creatures had been existing for so many years without getting caught! Her brother had told her about this, but she didn’t believe it until now.
Maybe that was why she had landed on Zoan’s back when she had fallen because a heartless man like him would have simply moved out of the way if he had sensed her coming. Speaking of that same heartless man, she had just sighted him walking in her direction.
The feel of the incoming disaster was enough for her to pick up herself and dive for the nearest corner she could find. Hiding behind boulders or statues when it came to him wasn’t a really good idea since he felt different from the others. Since he was royalty, his abilities would definitely be a lot better than the normal ones and even though she knew he might still not sense her since he didn’t the first time, she still couldn’t take that risk.
Aletta rushed into the first door unlocked door she could find, softly closing the door behind her. Alerted that he might be heading this way, she placed her ear over the door to make out any footsteps or sound that was approaching her. When Etta was positive that she was alone, she turned back and leaned against the door with a deep sigh.
’ Just because I love you doesn’t mean... ’
As soon as she recalled her earlier confession, Aletta palmed her face as regret colored her face with a bit of embarrassment. Why did she say that to him? Was she out of her mind?! She pulled her palm against her face, sagging the firm skin around it.
There were about five lit candles in the small room she was in. Aletta almost gasped when she saw someone lying on the bed, so she quickly covered her mouth. It was the figure of a woman, and that was when Etta became aware of the low temperature around the room. The air was cold against her face despite the candles that were supposed to give the room a little form of heat.
It wasn’t just the room temperature that was bugging her, there was something odd about the woman lying on the bed. Etta tiptoed to take a closer look at the woman who had her eyes closed. She was putting on heavy clothing, covering every inch of her body apart from her face, and her posture looked stiff. Both hands were placed on her belly, and her legs were also touching each other. Etta felt like she had seen the woman somewhere before, and why was there a freezing temperature around her? Could it be that she was the one emitting it from her body?
Unable to help herself, Etta reached down and placed the back of her palm against her forehead. She was at a loss for words, utterly gobsmacked to the point that her hands began trembling uncontrollably.
What in the name of...
