Jiang Hua glanced at the boss with disgust. "Accompany you? You don't deserve it." After saying that, she slapped the boss across the face.
The boss covered his face in shock. How dare this woman hit him? Did she even know who she was? The shock quickly turned into anger. He had been inexplicably humiliated today. The boss glared at Jiang Hua and grabbed her hair.
Jiang Hua was grabbed by the boss and felt pain. She tried to break free from his grasp, but she was no match for his strength. Moreover, the more she struggled, the more her hair hurt.
Jiang Hua kept hitting the boss with both hands, and the blow landed squarely on his face. The boss, having been slapped again, could no longer contain his anger and grabbed Jiang Hua's head, slamming it against the wall.
Jiang Hua was dizzy and disoriented from the boss's shove, feeling like she was about to faint. She struggled to break free, only to find her hair being pulled painfully. Looking around, she spotted a vase on the nearby table. In a moment of panic, Jiang Hua didn't care about anything else, grabbed the vase, and smashed it at the boss.
With a loud "bang," Jiang Hua's hair was released, and shards of the vase scattered all over the floor. Jiang Hua's hair was finally her own again. She looked up at the boss and saw him clutching his head, blood streaming down his face. The boss was still groaning, "Ah! My head, my head!"
Jiang Hua panicked upon seeing this scene, unsure of what to do. The boss, clutching his head, still angrily threatened Jiang Hua, "You just wait! Someone, quick, someone, arrest this murderer!"
The boss shouted loudly outside. Jiang Hua, hearing that the boss was calling for help, worried that she would be detained there and fall into his hands, knowing she would be in serious trouble. In a panic, she grabbed her bag and ran out. As she went downstairs, she didn't forget to tidy her messy hair before quickly running out of the company.
Jiang Hua, who had run out of the company, didn't know what to do. She wandered aimlessly through the streets, her mind a jumbled mess. The boss would definitely not let her off easily. What should she do then?
Jiang Hua walked and walked until she reached her front door. She shook her head and thought, "Forget it, I'll think of something later." She went straight inside.
The boss was clutching his head and calling for help. His subordinates rushed in, all of them terrified. A quick-thinking employee immediately called an ambulance and took the boss to the hospital.
Soon after, the boss's family members, who had heard the news, rushed over and inquired about his well-being. Seeing that the boss was alright, they asked what had happened and how someone dared to hit him on the head.
The boss covered his head and, upon hearing this, gritted his teeth and said, "A woman came to the company and asked me why I fired her. When I didn't reinstate her, she beat me up, and that's how I ended up like this."
The boss's family members, upon hearing his words, jumped to their feet in anger. The boss's mother said angrily, "No, we can't let that woman get away with this. We're going to sue her and make her pay the price." The others echoed his sentiments.
The boss said fiercely, "Of course, that woman injured me, she must pay the price."
Jiang Hua stayed at home for a while, but couldn't sit still. She felt uneasy, thinking that her boss would not let her off so easily.
Suddenly, Jiang Hua's phone rang. She saw that it was an unfamiliar number and wondered who was calling.
"You're Jiang Hua, right? My son was injured by you hitting him with a vase and is now in the hospital. He's seriously injured. You hit someone and ran away, but we won't let you off easily. We'll take you to court. Just wait for the court's notice. You'll definitely get your comeuppance."
After saying this, the call was disconnected. Listening to the busy tone, Jiang Hua felt a sudden panic. Had she really damaged him badly? What if he threatened to sue her?
Jiang Hua paced back and forth in the room, anxiously wondering what to do. Suddenly, she thought of Gu Yiming. If Gu Yiming could help her, this matter would definitely be resolved.
Jiang Hua hesitated. If she asked Gu Yiming for help, he would definitely ridicule her or not help her at all. Jiang Hua gritted her teeth and thought that if she didn't ask him for help, she would end up in the police station. Jiang Hua braced herself and called Gu Yiming.
Gu Yiming was turning on his computer monitor, wanting to see if Jiang Hua had come home. Just then, Gu Yiming's phone rang. Looking down, he saw that the caller ID showed Jiang Hua, and a slight smile appeared on Gu Yiming's lips.
"What? Is something wrong?" Gu Yiming asked coldly.
Hearing Gu Yiming's tone, Jiang Hua couldn't say what she was about to say. She chuckled on the other end of the phone, "Nothing, just asking if you've eaten."
"I've already eaten." Gu Yiming's tone remained completely calm.
"Do you want to eat it again?" Jiang Hua chuckled awkwardly, not even knowing what she was saying.
"What exactly are you trying to say?" Gu Yiming asked directly, too lazy to beat around the bush.
"Ahem, well then, I'll get straight to the point." Jiang Hua cleared her throat. "I injured the company's CEO today by smashing a vase, and now her family is threatening to sue me. You see... do you want to use your words to help me resolve this?"
Jiang Hua thought she had been very polite, and that Gu Yiming wouldn't make things difficult for her. But she underestimated Gu Yiming's shamelessness.
"Help you solve it? Why should I help you?" Gu Yiming sneered.
Jiang Hua was furious when she heard Gu Yiming's words. He was taking advantage of her. She cursed Gu Yiming in her heart, but she still had to admit it verbally. After all, she had caused trouble and needed his help.
"Please help me this time. I apologize for what I did wrong before. Please forgive my mistake and help me resolve this matter, or I'll end up in the police station," Jiang Hua said pitifully.
When Gu Yiming heard Jiang Hua apologize to him and ask him for help, he felt smug and wore a smug look on his face. If Jiang Hua saw him like this, she would definitely want to beat him to death.
Gu Yiming pretended to be unwilling, hesitated for a few seconds, and then said coldly, "Apologizing is more sincere when it's done in person. Here's what we'll do: you go to the hotel and wait for me. I'll come over after I finish my work. You'd better prepare yourself. If your apology doesn't satisfy me, you can handle your own business."
Jiang Hua was gritting her teeth as she listened, but she had no choice but to submit. She endured it and said to Gu Yiming, "Okay, I'll go and wait for you."
