Jiang Shiwan didn't actually love him; she was only with him for the novelty. However, he still had some use to her. If she had told her earlier that it was just a marriage proposal, or at most an engagement, she could still back out as long as they weren't legally married.
With a sweet smile, she nodded in agreement. Xu Mo was overjoyed and stood up to put the ring on her finger. He promised to love her for life and to give her happiness forever. Seeing the happy smile on his face, Jiang Hua secretly curled her lips; how naive.
Xu Mo is from T City, which isn't far from A City, so he's sure his parents won't object. Besides, he's been their darling since childhood, so they'll probably grant him his wish to marry a woman he doesn't easily fall for.
He seemed particularly happy and for a moment didn't know what to say, so he just stared blankly at Jiang Shiwan.
