Chapter 188 Unforgivable
"Alastor Moody, former Auror, your new Defense Against the Dark Arts professor."
Moody's magic eyes moved around in their sockets, and the flesh at the corners of his mouth trembled as he spoke.
The Slytherin students were on high alert. Every time Moody's gaze moved in a certain direction, the little snake that was swept by it would lower its head.
"Let me see the list for this class - Malfoy, Nott, Goyle, Crabbe..."
"Familiar last names, they are all old friends - I know the parents of many of you. Of course, compared to them - I am more looking forward to your performance."
The classroom was so quiet that you could hear a pin drop.
Even the rat snake coiled on Jian Yu's arm moved restlessly.
She didn't usually bring him to classes, but he was always drooling over the Niffler pups.
For the sake of her older children's physical and mental health, she had to take it away from the suitcase.
"First of all, can anyone tell me how many Unforgivable Curses there are in the world?"
Silence became the main theme in the classroom.
"No one answered. It was a perfect disguise, as if no one knew anything." Moody showed a terrifying smile, his magic eyes spinning wildly, "A room full of Slytherins - haven't any of you learned it secretly? I think you should be very familiar with these spells."
He opened the drawer of the podium and took out a glass bottle with three big black spiders crawling around inside.
"Let me tell you what the first spell is."
He picked a spider out of the glass bottle and gave it a crazy expression, like a cat enjoying a mouse struggling under its claws:
"Come on...cutie..."
"lmperio (soul leaves the body)!"
The spider began to twist its body and jumped away from his palm. It dangled on a thin thread and landed on the table again, stretched out its legs stiffly, and somersaulted.
"have a look--"
Moody's magic eye rotated 360 degrees, as if he was carefully selecting targets to intimidate from among the Slytherins.
The spider flew out and climbed onto Crabbe's head, making him utter a frightened "ooh," and then jumped onto Goyle's hand...
Next came Crabbe, Draco, Theodore... Everyone's face was distorted and turned pale.
It was not until everyone named by Moody suffered a wave of venomous spiders crawling around and intimidated them that his two eyes locked onto Jian Yu at the same time.
As he waved his wand, the spider leaped up and tried to get on her face—
But neither it nor he succeeded, because the small snake coiled in her sleeve shot out like an arrow and swallowed the spider in one gulp.
"What a pity, sir, our teaching aids are gone."
Jian Yu pressed the little snake back into his sleeve, then raised his head and spoke calmly to Moody.
She could clearly feel his pupils shrink suddenly, as if he had never expected to encounter such a tough guy in class.
Although Professor McGonagall explained to her for a long time, she still felt that she could not remain respectful and kind to the professor under such malicious intimidation.
It took all her self-control to resist casting another Transfiguration spell on the heroic veteran.
But her action seemed to touch Moody's sensitive nerves. He stared at her and looked like he was going to give her a big bite in the next second.
"Yes, it's unpleasant that the teaching aids are gone."
He spoke slowly, and suddenly he yelled nervously:
"Then you - come, step forward - and give everyone a lesson!"
The whole class exclaimed, and even the most slow-witted people realized that something was wrong.
The desks made a rumbling sound as they moved. With Jian Yu at the center, the desks and people around were pushed to the side by an unknown force.
"You, come to the middle and demonstrate the power of this spell to everyone—"
"This is illegal, Professor!" Daphne and Theodore stopped her, their faces as white as paper. "You said - you can't use it on people -"
Moody ignored their words and actions. He turned his magic eye and stared at Daphne grimly:
"Dumbledore wants you to experience it. This was originally planned for next month - but your classmates can't wait -"
Jian Yu felt confused.
Isn't it overestimating her ability to let her go on stage to teach everyone?
Can she learn the Imperius Curse, one of the three unforgivable curses, in one go?
Besides, this Professor Moody, who had eagerly asked her to cast a spell on him—
Is he having a mental illness again?
Is this really okay?
But since he insisted that she demonstrate the power of this spell to everyone... I think he can handle it...
Then why not give it a try?
Under everyone's horrified gaze, Jian Yu drew out his wand and pointed it at Moody:
"lmperio (soul leaves the body)!"
"Ah--" Pansy screamed, "She used an Unforgivable Curse on the professor!"
The classroom suddenly became a mess. Students stood up in panic. Some screamed in fear, some pushed and shoved their way to the door, and others hid under the tables and trembled.
Under the watchful eyes of the crowd, Moody seemed to be petrified and did not move at all. His body seemed to be controlled by a mysterious force, becoming eerily stiff. Suddenly, he bent his knee, and his originally straight wooden leg also sprained. This movement looks like trying to squat down, but cannot be completed due to resistance of will.
But the next second he broke free from control, his expression completely changed, staring at her with a vigilant and yet hidden excitement, his voice rumbling:
"Kids of your age, even if you use the killing curse on me, the most you can do is make my nose bleed!"
"Besides, it's just the Imperius Curse. Look at it, all of you! This is how you resist the Imperius Curse! With will, with the energy of personality!"
But Moody, who was still teaching his students loudly the previous second, seemed to have a sudden mental illness. His wooden legs thumped against the ground, and he grabbed Jian Yu by the collar, panting and roaring:
"But you - you ignorant girl - you attacked the professor for the second time! Come with me to find your dean!"
"Snape - an old friend too - I've been looking forward to a good chat with my old buddy - let's go!"
Jian Yu felt confused again.
This professor...how did he get into trouble?
Didn't he ask her to demonstrate?
Why is he still angry when the demonstration was successful?
It's really puzzling.
And why would he take her to Snape?
Why don't you go to the principal's office for a chat and some tea?
She had already cast the Imperius Curse on him, so why hadn't she gone to Dumbledore to discuss her expulsion?
I don’t even dare to find the principal. The quality of the professor of this Defense Against the Dark Arts class is not very good!
This was truly the class with the most worrying teacher ethics she had ever seen.
sigh.
