"No matter what, our goal is simply to catch the pirates."
Smoker said to a navy officer, "Go contact headquarters and get a permanent pointer to Alabasta. We're going to Alabasta."
Lida paused, then said, "Alabasta..."
"What, you've been there?" Kuro asked, puzzled.
“I stayed there for a while before, and the cactus was awful to eat,” Lida said with a look of disgust.
You're the one who's disliked for eating cactus!
Kuro smirked and gave Lida a disdainful look.
Alabasta...
He wasn't particularly opposed to going to Alabasta. If his memory served him right, Alabasta didn't need the navy's involvement; after all, it was a kingdom's internal affair, and the government had no right to interfere.

Kuro and his group had already arrived.
"I'm going to find a place to eat. You can have fun by yourself."
Kuro waved to Smoker, slung his sword over his shoulder, and left.
"Take me with you! Take me with you!"
Lida cheered and followed.
Kro followed.
Although he had joined the Navy, he still felt awkward being alone with them and preferred to stay with Kuro.
"A lazy fellow."
Smoker sighed helplessly. "Fine, I wasn't really counting on you anyway. Tashigi, go gather intelligence and see if there's any sign of the Straw Hat crew."
"Yes, Colonel Smoker."
