Ninety-nine

In the depths where bones lay scattered and crows filled the sky, a large, dark crow with three eyes stared coldly at us.

I scratched my head. Why do I always encounter birds and beasts here? Aren't there gods and humans too? How come I've never met any of them?

"Master, he's really ugly!" Feng Su clicked her tongue, her tone full of disgust.

All black, fat, big, and with three eyes—it's definitely not my type at all.

"Feng Su, be careful. This is a three-eyed demon crow, and it's not easy to deal with." I gently reminded Feng Su by patting her head.

Feng Su held her phoenix head high, shook her beautiful and magnificent feathers, and said nonchalantly, "Master, have you forgotten? I am a phoenix! How could he possibly be my match?" With that, Feng Su flapped her wings, preparing to charge forward. "Master, please sit tight!"

I hurriedly sat up, grabbed the phoenix and lowered my body. As soon as I was seated, Feng Su let out a clear phoenix cry and rushed out. The three-eyed demon crow opposite me saw Feng Su rushing towards it, and it also flapped its wings and let out a series of hoarse cries.

I squinted, watching the Three-Eyed Crow's every move warily. As its cries echoed, the little crows circling around us rushed toward me and Feng Su as if on command.

Hmph, even small fry can hurt us? I didn't pay much attention to these weak crows with low combat power and low magic power. After yesterday's victory, I was a little too confident.

I casually made a hand seal, compressing my magic power into my hand. A small golden ball of magic power slowly formed in my hand. I could feel the power of this ball, and I continuously poured magic power into it.

Just as the swarm of crows was about to reach me and Feng Su, I threw the magic ball in my hand. With a "bang," the magic ball exploded, and the crows fell to the ground.

The flock of crows that had just been so dense they could block out the sun is now completely gone, and the white bones on the ground are now covered by the corpses of the crows.

The Three-Eyed Raven was clearly provoked by this scene; its icy eyes seemed to blaze with flame as it stared at us as if it wanted to devour us.

The Three-Eyed Raven roared loudly and spread its enormous wings. The moment its wings opened, I was stunned.

It turns out that the Three-Eyed Demon Raven wasn't fat at all. When it spread its wings, it kicked up a cloud of dust. Its wings were much larger than I expected, covering a large area. Its body, which had just looked quite plump, now appeared pitifully thin.

I swallowed hard. It was so big. I nudged Feng Su quietly and asked, "Can you handle it?"

Feng Su, however, still held her head high with an arrogant and domineering air. "So what if its wings are big?" Feng Su suddenly turned her phoenix head. "Master, go and rest for a while. Watch how I teach it a lesson!"

"Are you sure you can handle it?" I asked, a little worried about Feng Su. In my memory, Feng Su wasn't good at fighting. "Do you need my help?"

Feng Su shook her head, "No need. As the king of birds and the head of all birds, would I be afraid of a mere crow? What a joke."

"Alright then." Seeing that Feng Su said that, I stopped insisting. I'll just watch from the side and take action if things get complicated.

But where am I supposed to go? I glanced at the ground, and all I saw were bones and the bodies of crows. I had no desire to go down there at all; in fact, just looking at the ground made me feel nauseous.

It seems I have no choice but to use magic to ride the clouds. Speaking of riding the clouds, I'm actually quite happy. I rarely ride the clouds myself; when I go out, I usually ride either the You, the Feng Su, or the Divine Carriage.
