Sixty-three

"Why weren't you there when You looked for me before?" I suddenly remembered that You hadn't been there the previous few times.

You paused for a few seconds before slowly speaking, "A small matter occurred in the Heavenly Court, and I went to handle it."

"What happened?" I immediately panicked when I heard that something had happened in the Heavenly Court. Could it be that the rebellion had occurred? But Luo and I have been in the Abyss, so who could it be?

"It's okay, I'm here, don't worry," You said, trying to reassure me when she saw that I was a little flustered.

"Are you alright?" I quickly stepped out of You's arms and looked her up and down.

"No, don't worry." You held my hand, her tone doting, her eyes conveying reassurance.

I looked up at You, who still had a smile in her eyes. My worried face was reflected in her beautiful eyes. You seemed no different from usual, but I was still uneasy. "You, let's go back to Heaven together."

"Just do what you want to do. Didn't you want to see Sun and Moon Lord?" You gently shook her head and declined my offer.

"But.."

Before I could even say it, Yu's sudden kiss cut me off. Yu held me and kissed me tenderly for a long time before letting go and saying, "Don't worry, I've taken care of everything."

I was a little dizzy from the sudden kiss and lay panting in You's arms, saying, "Then I'll go to Sun and Moon City first."

"Okay, I'll come pick you up and we'll go back to Heaven together." You rubbed my head. "You can do whatever you want, talk about whatever you want."

I looked up into Youdu's eyes and said, "I want people in the abyss to be able to see the light." Then I lowered my eyes and said with a hint of frustration, "Isn't that too far-fetched?"

How could the people of the celestial realm agree to release the demons that have been suppressed in the abyss for so long? But not everyone here is bad. It feels a bit pitiful for them to stay in such a place all the time.

"I support you, I'll support you no matter what you do." You's voice came from above my head. After a long pause, I seemed to vaguely hear You's voice, tinged with sadness, say, "As long as you don't leave me."

I tightened my grip on You's arm and buried my head in her chest, thinking to myself, "Why is this silly girl still worried that I'll leave her?"

I felt a warm sensation on my forehead. "I should go."

"So soon?" I held You tightly, unwilling to let go. We had only just met, why was she leaving again?

"I'll come pick you up soon," You coaxed me patiently.

I held You close for a while longer before letting her go. I watched as You transformed into a wisp of white mist and gradually disappeared before my eyes.

"Sigh." I sighed and lay back on the bed, staring at the ceiling and lost in thought. I felt like a grieving young wife.

"Young master, young master. Wake up." I was sleeping soundly when I felt someone calling me. I opened my eyes groggily and saw Xiao Gua's big face.

"What's wrong?" I asked groggily, rubbing my eyes.

"Young Master? You..." Xiao Gua looked at me with a look of astonishment, as if she had seen a ghost, when she heard me speak.

I jolted awake and realized that You had come last night, and I had deliberately transformed back into a woman. After You left, I fell asleep again and forgot to transform back. The voice I just spoke was indeed that of a soft, delicate girl.

I coughed lightly twice, covered my eyes with my hand, and spoke in a male voice, "Is there something you need so early in the morning?"

I glimpsed through my fingers that Xiaogua looked somewhat confused. "Young Master, the City Lord has arrived."

"Lord of the city? Alright, I understand. You may leave now, I'll get up right away."

"good."
