For the rest of the journey, Pu Weichao basically carried Wu Shuang on his back. I don't know why, but I felt completely drained and exhausted.
When I got to the halfway point, I was almost exhausted. If I hadn't kept going, I wouldn't have made it to the top.
Could it be that there's something wrong with my health?
No way? Logically speaking, I should have regained some energy after dozing off in the car, so why am I even more tired?

I felt like I hadn't finished speaking when my eyelids felt as heavy as lead, and I collapsed next to Wu Shuang. I could faintly hear Wu Shuang and Pu Weichao talking.
Pu Weichao asked, "What happened to him? Is he alright?"
Wu Shuang said gently, "Shh, he's just too tired. Let him sleep for a while. He's probably really, really tired today."
Pu Weichao gave a couple of "ohs" and asked in a low voice, "What did he do at the pharmaceutical company today?"
Wu Shuang shook his head and said, "I only know that he killed someone. I don't know anything else, but I understand that he must have risked his life to survive."
"Then you all get some rest. I'll head out now. Call me if you need anything."
"Mmm." Wu Shuang nodded. After the door closed, Wu Shuang stroked my hair and whispered gently, "You silly boy..."
In my hazy state, that was the last thing I heard. I didn't hear a single word after "fool" because I was too tired. A moment later, I fell asleep and started snoring.
