Chapter 74 Magna

After a brief glance, her gaze locked onto a spot twenty meters in front of her. There was a gap there, like a ray of light in the darkness.

That gap could be an alley leading to another street, or it could be a dead end filled with zombies.

If it was an alley leading to another street, then she might have a chance of survival; if it was a dead end, then she was completely doomed.

But at this moment, there seems to be no other choice. Staying where you are is undoubtedly waiting for death.

"Go in!" Magna steeled her resolve, her eyes flickering as she watched the advancing hordes of corpses from both sides. Without hesitation, she charged toward the gap. Her steps were firm and powerful, brimming with the courage to fight to the bitter end.

Soon, Magna rushed into the gap.

Soon, Magna saw the detailed scene inside the gap.

It was a rather filthy alley, the ground littered with garbage, a dumpster overturned, and all sorts of debris scattered about. A foul, putrid smell filled the air, making one nauseous.

Of course, in addition to the garbage, there were three zombies wandering around in the alley. When they heard Magna's movement, they slowly turned around and staggered towards her.

The good news is that this is indeed an alley leading to another street; the bad news is that there are zombies in this alley.

"Huff, huff—" Magna panted, a flicker of nervousness in her eyes. Looking at the three zombies in the alley, her gaze glared, and she gripped the crowbar even tighter.

If she were in a relatively open area, facing three zombies, it would not be easy for her to deal with them, but it would not be difficult either.

But her current position was terrible. The alley was too narrow, significantly reducing her margin for error. Furthermore, after several minutes of running at full speed, her energy was running low. On top of that, there were over a hundred zombies chasing her, which inevitably made her nervous.

In the alley, the three zombies heard Magna rushing into the alley, slowly turned around, and staggered towards her. Their movements were slow, but full of danger.

Watching the three approaching zombies, Magna reached for the pistol at her waist. Her fingers gently stroked the handle, but she felt a little hesitant.

Shooting is an extremely dangerous thing. Once fired, the sound will be like a magnet, attracting all nearby zombies. Then, she will have to face more than just the two zombies behind her. On top of that, the street on the other side of the alley might also attract zombies due to the sound of her gunfire, blocking the exit.

If she was blocked at both ends, she would be truly doomed. Furthermore, with her skills, close combat wasn't without chance of success; at most, there was a small risk of infection.

Magna glanced at the crowbar in her hand, a look of determination flashing in her eyes. She quickly made a decision.

She gripped the crowbar tightly in both hands, her eyes revealing fearless courage, and walked directly towards the nearest zombie. Then, with a sudden force of both hands, she drove the sharp end of the crowbar through the zombie's skull. With a dull sound, the zombie fell to the ground.

After Magna had wrenched the crowbar from the zombie's skull, two other zombies came up to her, their claws and teeth bared, emitting a nauseating stench.

Magna gritted her teeth, a determined look on her face. She thrust the crowbar directly into one of the zombies' eye sockets, instantly piercing its skull. Her movements were clean, sharp, and powerful.

Just as she was about to pull out the crowbar, another zombie pounced on her with its bloody mouth wide open.

Magna was very agile. She kicked the zombie hard, kicking it back and successfully pulling the crowbar out of the other zombie's head. Her reaction was quick and her movements were agile.

The zombie refused to give up and once again staggered towards Magna. Without hesitation, Magna stabbed the zombie in the head with the crowbar again, ending its sinful life.

After dealing with the three zombies, Magna looked behind her again.

Behind her, the two groups of zombies had merged, pouring into the alley like a surging tide. At this moment, they were only twenty meters away from her, and their roars were so loud that they hurt her eardrums.

Seeing this, Magna didn't hesitate. She gritted her teeth, her eyes revealing determination. She ran towards the exit on the other side of the alley. Her steps were rapid, as if she was racing against death.

However, after only a few steps, she suddenly felt a force grip her ankle, as if being pulled by an invisible hand. Immediately, she lost her balance and stumbled heavily to the ground. The crowbar in her hand flew half a meter ahead due to inertia. Her face was filled with fear, and her heart was filled with despair.

at the same time.

On the other side of the street leading to the alley, Xu Mo's figure quietly appeared here.

After a ten-minute walk, he finally arrived at the town along the road. He observed everything around him with sharp eyes.

"Hmm... Is this vibration from zombies? There seem to be quite a few, around a hundred. Wait, besides the zombies, there seems to be another person?" Xu Mo frowned slightly, a hint of confusion in his eyes. With his unique perception, he sensed the subtle vibrations in the air.

Where is the location!

Xu Mo quickly fixed his gaze on a gap not far away. A hint of curiosity flashed in his eyes.

“Go and have a look!”

Xu Mo thought for a moment and then walked towards the gap. He did this for two reasons.

On the one hand, he wanted to kill zombies to earn some points. In this apocalypse, points were extremely important to him, and they were the key to obtaining more resources and abilities.

On the other hand, he could also ask that person to find him a car. After all, since he was here, he was most likely a local. If he was a local, he would definitely know where there were available vehicles.

Most importantly, he had already used his spider sense to sense it. He was alone, so there was no need to worry about any traps. His eyes revealed confidence and composure.
