Chapter 8 Losses and Gains

Not to mention the delicious salted crab roe, this meat porridge alone had become rare after the war. Ferocious pigs were actually very difficult to hunt, and the monster meat on the station was mostly other mutants. Furthermore, after a fierce battle, this seemingly everyday food was clearly superior to the wild versions in the bar. The food quickly healed everyone's exhausted hearts and bodies. The guide commented that the pain in his legs and feet had eased considerably.

The leader glanced at the others, staring at the guide for a moment before saying, "Why negotiate a price? We're all friends! Also, how did you end up like this?"

"A group of mutants, one of them is level two, very strong." The guide replied. Although he was sitting on the ground, he did not look down and out. "Let's stick to the old rules, otherwise I won't dare to ride in your car!"
