Chapter 36

Chapter 36

My head is spinning. When Xue opened her eyes, she saw a ceiling that was both strange and somewhat familiar.

Xue sighed as she looked at the clock on the wall, which pointed to 5:21.

It's past midnight.

The hangover was unpleasant; it felt like my stomach was churning. My head felt heavy and sluggish. Instinctively, I threw back the covers and saw my bare body. I stood up, my legs aching and weak. It felt like I'd run a marathon with heavy loads for twenty or thirty kilometers.

Her legs went weak, and she collapsed back onto the bed.

Yuki suddenly remembered what happened last night. What happened after she took the drunk Kakashi back to the Hatake residence...

Teenagers in puberty have little experience with that kind of thing, but their energy is almost inexhaustible.

It was clearly their first time...

Kakashi's fondness for it was like finally getting a toy he couldn't have as a child; he kept licking it, and his saliva covered almost his entire body.

There are also teeth marks on the neck and collarbone that have been constantly bitten; you can still faintly feel them when you touch them.

Kakashi had just cleaned her body before she woke up.

Xue put the back of her hand over her eyes, pondering how to leave later.

The sound of running water coming from the washroom and the sound of hands rubbing together with hand sanitizer could be heard.

Yuki dragged her weak body and found her underwear among the clothes scattered on the tatami mat. She put it on as she walked.

The girl leaned against the door of the washroom and could see at a glance the silver-haired boy standing in front of the sink, constantly washing his hands.

The other person woke up in bed without getting dressed, wearing only a pair of gray boxer shorts.

He has a slender, thin-skinned boyish figure with long arms and legs, and also has great potential for development.

From behind, the muscle lines are very smooth and beautiful, and the two symmetrical dimples at the waist are very aesthetically pleasing.

Xue watched silently as he kept rinsing something under the running water, his hands wrinkled but he wouldn't stop.

She lowered her eyelids, her long, raven-feather-like eyelashes casting two shadows beneath her eyes; it was unclear what she was thinking.

By the time Kakashi realized what was happening, the water from the tap had already been turned off by a pair of slender hands.

"Stop washing, there's nothing on your hands."

"Kakashi, stop right there!"

The girl grabbed the boy's wet hand, her voice tinged with unusual anger.

Kakashi had never seen such an angry expression before.

His eyes were filled with pain, and large, glistening tears fell from his bulging eyes.

"Xue, my hands aren't clean, there's blood on them..."

Xue closed her eyes briefly, then opened them again. Her brows were furrowed, her expression a mixture of reluctance, heartache, and sadness.

She mustered her courage and cupped Kakashi's face in her hands. Without his mask, Kakashi's handsome features were striking.

Xue looked directly into his eyes, including the Sharingan in his left eye that couldn't be closed and the scar from the kunai, and gently kissed the scar on Kakashi's eye.

"No blood..."

She felt her breathing quicken, and Kakashi saw the Sharingan with its three tomoe.

It gave her the illusion that the dead Obito was looking at her through this Sharingan.

Will Obito find out that she and her teammates, who are about his age, did this? Will Obito be angry?

She tried to calm her breathing, took Kakashi's hand, and bowed her head slightly.

As the soft lips touched his palm, Kakashi felt as if his hand was covered in blood.

It seems to have been temporarily cleansed; the itching and burning sensation has subsided, and I have calmed down.

"I'm here, Kakashi, calm down."

The girl spoke like a knight, even when her pretty face turned to look at him.

His demeanor was as solemn as a knight making a vow to a princess in a comic book.

Xue looked up at Kakashi and asked, "Are you feeling better, Kakashi?"

Kakashi couldn't help but nod slightly in response, his voice a little hoarse from crying.

"Can I have a hug?"

The boy's embrace felt like that of a large, insecure dog; the tight hug forced Xue to adjust her breathing.

She gently patted Kakashi's back with her free hands and said, "The Sharingan can be turned off actively. Slowly use the chakra in your brain to control the Sharingan in your eyes. Otherwise, you will over-consume chakra because the Sharingan is always open."

"Okay." Kakashi obediently released Yuki and tried to restore his Sharingan to its original black pupil form.

Perhaps because the Sharingan wasn't something Kakashi was born with, and because he wasn't a member of the Uchiha clan, he couldn't freely turn it on and off. He could only temporarily deactivate it when Yuki channeled Uchiha clan chakra into it. Once he used ninjutsu again, the Sharingan would automatically activate, and he could only reduce chakra consumption by closing or covering his eyes.

Kakashi affectionately wrapped his arm around Yuki's waist, his silver hair brushing against her neck.

The two people, who are of similar height, stood together, neither tall nor short, with no height difference whatsoever.

Xue nudged him, and Kakashi looked at her with a questioning expression.

She said, "I'm going back."

After Yuki finished dressing, Kakashi couldn't help but ask that question.

"So what is our relationship now?"

Yuki stumbled and almost fell. Kakashi rushed forward and caught her; Yuki felt as if he were burning hot to the touch.

Shouldn't she try dating or something similar?

Her voice was low: "Kakashi, what kind of relationship do you hope there is between us?"

Kakashi's gaze fell on the snow's neck, where even though it was covered by the high-necked tribal clothing, the obvious teeth marks and red marks were still visible.

His earlobes flushed slightly, and the hand supporting his snowy waist tightened its grip slightly.

My biggest wish is to be family. But... shouldn't we start as lovers?

Then date for a year or two, and then get married or something.

"Lover...is that okay?"

Xue looked away and nodded gently.

Kakashi's eyes lit up with joy; he had finally inherited everything that Obito had left behind.

"Wait a moment, I'll take you home!"

-

The news of Kakashi and Yuki's relationship quickly reached Minato Namikaze's ears.

Do you know Kakashi?

"That non-Uchiha ninja with the Sharingan."

"He got together with the famous 'Konoha Snow Princess'."

"Aren't members of the Uchiha clan supposed to not marry outside the clan?"

I heard—

Minato Namikaze appeared behind the two with a smile, his tone gentle but his eyes devoid of laughter: "What are you two discussing during work hours?"

"The Fourth Hokage?!"

"Well, then we'll get back to work, Fourth Hokage!"

The woman grabbed the stunned man, and the two walked away until they could no longer see Minato Namikaze. Then they put their heads together and whispered to each other.

"Don't you know?"

"According to rumors, the Fourth Hokage and Uchiha Yuki seem to have a rather ambiguous relationship."

"How is that possible?! The Fourth Hokage, such a perfect ninja, had an affair with a beautiful woman from the Uchiha clan?"

"I heard that the Fourth Hokage was interested in that child, but now that the Fourth Hokage and the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki both have children, they probably won't care about these things anymore, right?"

"No matter what, if the Fourth Hokage were to marry into the Uchiha clan, wouldn't that be indirectly supporting the Uchiha clan? That clan... always has this vague sense of superiority, which is really annoying. No matter what, we can't let a child with Uchiha blood become the Hokage's son."

"So, compared to the Fourth Hokage, Kakashi Hatake actually has very little political influence."

"Besides, he's the only one in the Hatake clan, so he can't amount to much."

Jiraiya, who had just come out of the izakaya slightly tipsy, heard gossiping comments.

He grinned and moved between the two, putting his arms around their shoulders: "You finally get to come back to the village, and all you hear is such exciting news?"

"J-Jiraiya-sama?!"

"You're not going to—"

Jiraiya patted the two of them hard on the shoulders: "You two, be more careful with your conversations next time."

The two watched Jiraiya's departing figure in silence, then supported each other and exchanged a glance.

"Jiraiya-sama's strength is really strong, I feel like my internal organs are about to be slapped out."

"I agree, I'll never dare to gossip in the village again."

"No matter where we hide to chat, there are always relatives or friends who show up."

"Let's talk about this again when we're outside the village next time."

-

Xue felt that her days with Kakashi were not exactly ordinary.

Kakashi, a member of the Anbu, was reassigned to protect Kushina Uzumaki, who was pregnant, and she was a member of the Fourth Hokage's elite guard.

His daily duties were mostly secretarial and bodyguard roles, such as accompanying the Fourth Hokage to various countries to sign treaties...

For some unknown reason, when the water gate was set out...

He usually only takes her along, but Genma Shiranui once suggested that they go together.

Minato would then politely decline, saying, "You must protect Konoha well."

Winter has arrived. Yuki and Minato have just returned to the village after signing a peace treaty with the newly appointed Fourth Kazekage of Sunagakure.

The girl wore practical black trousers and a high-necked clan robe, with a light brown trench coat over them. Around her neck was a dark blue scarf matching the one worn by Minato beside her. Minato wore a dark blue long-sleeved shirt and trousers underneath, and a long winter robe, the same style as the Fourth Hokage's, over it. A Hokage hat adorned her golden hair. The two girls stood in front of the Hokage Building, simultaneously looking up.

Looking at the white sky, the first snow of the year fell.

Unconsciously, Xue reached out her hand and caught the falling snowflakes in her palm.

"It's snowing..."

Minato Namikaze's gaze fell on Yuki's exquisite profile, and a smile appeared on his lips.

"It's the first snow yet. Looks like next year will be a good year."

Xue paused for a moment, then nodded: "Yes, the Fourth Hokage."

Minato Namikaze took Yuki's hand, which was hanging down to one side. The two hands were not visible because they were hidden by the wide sleeves of the trench coat and Hokage robe.

He inserted his knuckles between Xue's fingers, interlocking theirs.

Xue did not resist, but only frowned slightly.

She looked away and said softly, "Fourth Hokage... I have other matters to attend to today."

Minato Namikaze held her hand, his beautiful blue eyes blinking.

His tone was deliberately deliberately ambiguous: "Is today Kakashi's day off?"

Yuki didn't know why he, as the fourth generation, always knew so much about his subordinates' attendance.

She tried to pull her hand back, but Minato Namikaze gave her a sad look, and Yuki stopped moving again.

Then he let go of my hand and took a little closer: "Next time, Xue has to make it up to me properly."

The girl's furrowed brows deepened, and her face turned pale.

After Kakashi appeared, the two still maintained a hierarchical relationship on the surface, with Kakashi's gaze falling on Yuki's scarf, which was the same color as Minato Namikaze's.

He was taken aback for a moment, then Minato Namikaze smiled slightly, and Kakashi took Yuki's hand under his gaze.

It was physical contact that he couldn't openly and honestly do in front of others.

Minato's smile deepened, and Kakashi nodded to him, saying, "Minato-sensei, I'll take Yuki with me now."

"Yes, Xue, don't forget our promise." The blond, blue-eyed man raised his hand on his straw hat.

Snow's lips were a little pale, and Kakashi gave her a puzzled look.

She could only smile and say, "I will do what the Fourth Hokage ordered."
